I pointed this out and said (perfectly respectfully) that they’re not going to get anything with that praise. It’s stealing someone else’s praise and handing it to yourself. cathy never wanted to be in the show, she even said it multiple times when she was part of the team. that’s why she left early on competitions when vivi was done dancing. she didn’t want to be there. she was in the contract by the producers. they had to be there for 6 seasons, it explains why she sort of disappeared after those 6 seasons. kelly had to do lots of those to stop the producers from suing her and she eventually got out of the contract. for christi, it was very simple to get out of dance moms. in season 4, she wasn’t an official member anymore because she refused to sign a contract. but they still kept her, and when she left, she didn’t have to go to court and all that like kelly, because she refused to sign the contract.
