When I think of Canada’s greatest songs, in my opinion, this should be in the top 5. I had the privilege to see her at a small hall in the U of A in campus Edmonton almost 20 years ago. When she performed this song, I was blown away.

Her music and that voice is timeless. Sarah was and remains one of my generation’s most brilliant and talented songbirds.

Bought YOU WERE HERE when it came out in 2000. It's still one of my favorite albums. Good to see the CBC is in her corner. She deserves nothing less, because you never hear her music below the 49th parallel.

We’ve sang this song to our daughter every night at bedtime since she was an infant. She’s almost 6 now and the tradition continues. We just watched this together and she was mesmerized. Sarah’s music has been the soundtrack to a large portion of my life. Forever grateful

This is the song I sing to my newborn while rocking her to sleep. My favourite.

Happy to see her still doing her thing. In college I used to put this song on repeat all night while I studied. Helped to keep me at peace but also knowing there's an intensity coming. Seemed to work at keeping me going and the same is still true.

Wow amazing song! we never heard of her before until now. She is amazing and extra points for being Canadian like me and my band. There is something with Canadians and the word "Lodestar"

So...for this song, my gold standard has always been the version on the This Great Black Night EP. But this...this. It brought tears to my eyes. I'm speechless!
