Sarah does watch shoes she's in. She didn't watch the OJ one because she knew she was going to be nominated and didn't want to think "I was so good I SHOULD win". In other interviews when asked if she watched AHS 1984 she answer that she didn't watch "that one" because she wasn't in it :)

Sarah Paulson wasn’t asked to play Mildred ratchet she offered to play her she read the first script and fell in love with it and begged Ryan to let her play ratchet :)

So glad she moved away from wanting to be like Julia Roberts. She is such a superior actress to Julia and she doesn't need to depend on her model like looks to succeed. Every role Sarah plays is different to the last and that's what keeps me watching her work.
