it’s been an insane journey over the past couple of years trying to deal with this endometriosis stuff. To any one out there dealing with it, we are sorry.. it’s such a difficult situation but we are trying to always stay positive as we’ve been blessed with 2 beautiful kids (which we know is a miracle). There are also so many success stories of other women navigating it which gives us a lot of hope! If you have any tips or advice on how to deal with it let us know in the comments 🙏🏼 we love you all and are always grateful for the major support you show our fam!

Sarah, as a person who loves tattoos I would suggest putting it on the front of your arm so you can see it. My first tattoo, which is a portrait of my son is on my shoulder and I regret that I can not see him all the time.

I agree that Sarah so do what makes her feel good! Also agree with many that have said, Sunny needs a few more NO’s in her young life. She will be grateful when she gets older and won’t be so disappointed when she doesn’t always get what she wants. Y’all are good parents, fun parents, but set boundaries on camera and off camera. Love y’all, from Texas.

Sorry to hear about your struggles with endometriosis! As a fellow endo patient who has gratefully been able to say “ I’m endo free for 5 years” is an incredible feeling. Yes, even impossible, as most doctors will tell you. Dr. Andrew Cook in Durango Colorado is a board certified endo specialist and is truly the BEST!

Hi there. I have endometriosis and have had so much success with an IUD. It disrupts the growth and helps so much with all the period things. I’ve had mine since 2013 and the last 11 years have been a real blessing whereas before it was literal Hell on Earth! I hope you feel better and hang in there, this is just one of those valleys in life.

The Temporary Tattoo Is a Great Idea!! I wonder what you think about getting it ABOVE your elbow crease on the inside of your arm? That way it isn't always reminding you, but it's easily seen when you want to see it! On the back of your arm is Really out of sight, out of mind & I question the point of having it there. Since you would have to go out of your way to see it in a mirror means you would have to think of her just to see it. On my above suggested location you would Only Occasionally see it, which would likely bring you Joy because of the surprise of seeing it. Hope this Helps!!! ❤ P.S. I'd like to Place My Vote FOR You to Keep Your Hair Red!!! However, YOU Need To Be The One Who Is HAPPY, So Do Make Your Decision With That In Mind, Otherwise It Would Feel Like A Burden (or something you Flat Out Dread) & Not Something That Makes You Feel More Beautiful. On That Note: Always Remember How BEAUTIFUL You ARE No Matter What Color Your Hair Is!!! ❤❤❤ One Last Thing -- I Think Y'all Were Questioning Moving Back to Hawaii? If So, I Would Say If You Can Afford To Do So, Then My Thought Is Yes, Do. I Can Remember Videos When Y'all Were Originally Packing To Move From There. Even Then Y'all Were Voicing Doubts About Leaving. Also, There Have Been Videos Where You Expressed Maybe Wishing You Hadn't Moved -- & When You Visited Your Friends There Y'all Were Really Enjoying Yourselves & SO Sad When It Was Time To Leave. The Children Are Young Enough That They WILL Be HAPPY Wherever They Live! However, Before You Know It They Will Be Old Enough That Uprooting Them Will Affect Them. Do You Think Tanner & His Crew Would Move Back, Too? There's a Lot to Consider, But Y'all Need to Be Where You ARE The HAPPIEST!!! ☺️❤

vocabulary or sign language too! i'm a teacher at a preschool & kiddos her age are often frustrated because they lack the speech to specify their needs 🤍 started sign with my 2s and in 6 months they had 40+ signs! it teaches them bodily awareness and imprints more pathways in the prefrontal cortex than monolingual children. also, self regulation clicks best at this age! maybe phase out the bottles and pacifiers to opt for breathing exercises or an age appropriate comfort item like a stuffed animal 🧸

Sending love to you Sarah, I hope you can get the support & relief you deserve ❤ i have fibromyalgia & chronic joint pain and can empathise with how debilitating being in constant pain can be. My mum had endo & remember her being in a lot of pain and had a couple of ops when i was 6-9 to remove the clots, but she finally ended up having a hysterectomy when i was 10 & my big sis was 14. It's a condition many females experience & is not researched enough, nor is there enough medical support for those with it xxx

If I didn’t color my hair it would be pure white. Derek, it is a pain in the neck to have to color roots every three weeks. By the end of two weeks the white is already showing so I usually wear a hat in public during week three. I color it myself but it’s about $100 including tip for a professional so Sarah should be able to decide on what she is willing to put up with. 😊

Henna for sure! If she wants to stay red it's the best option. Doesn't fade nearly as much, can get the same color easily, it's actually healthy and conditioning to hair and makes it thicker over time by binding to the outside of the hair shaft instead of penetrating it like regular dye, has no harsh chemicals like PPD (can cause hair dye poisoning), and she can highlight or bleach it to a strawberry blonde if she wants

My daughter is 32 and had her endometriosis surgically removed in 2022. The doctor gave her a video of the procedure, and it was eerie to watch her dig around with a robotic arm and remove it from multiple organs (and remove her appendix). But it only gave her a few months of relief. She had a hysterectomy last year and is now pain free and the bloating is gone. So sorry you're experiencing this, Sarah. I enjoy your family chronicles and appreciate how real you both keep it.

Hi Sarah, I had endometriosis from age 11 to age 34. The pain was so horrendous. I just couldn't take it anymore. I had a complete historectomy, and it was THE best decision I've ever made. The only thing that helped (before surgery) was to be on birth control pills. Periods were MUCH less painful, and the flow was much lighter. Hope this helps you! I love you guys!

Girl, I feel ya with all the maintenance that red hair brings! Love it, but long-term, it just wasn't practical, unfortunately. Blonde highlights was my go-to for years, but when the pandemic hit, I threw on a box dye and embraced my natural dark brown hair. I love how shiny it is now, and getting my hair done now is way cheaper...huge bonus. I personally think you should go with whatever works for you and your lifestyle! P.S. SARAH I TOLD YOU WHEN YOU WERE HERE IN HAWAII the things you can do to END the endo. It's your choice to suffer or not. This info wasn't available when I was your age, so I did suffer terribly. There's no excuse now. Carbs, sugar, alcohol all throw you into Estrogen overload, which causes the Endo and at my age polyps in the Uterus. To kill them and not to have internal ultrasounds and surgical removal I have to do the same as what I am suggesting to you. 1. YOUR Way of eating must change. 2. No packaged garbage foods 3. Cut out carbs ( giving up bread was the worst for me) 4. No wine or cocktails or beer 5. eat meat (grass fed) 6. Fish and shell fish 7. Unless it's super organic avoid chicken it's full of hormones 8. EGGS, it's the #1 best source of protein, period 9. No protein shakes you absorb less than 50% of the protein on the label and they are full of sugar 10. take "Cat's Claw" supplement crazy name for the herb but it kills the scar tissue that is Endo 11. eat greens, but cook kale 12. Skip ALL SOY it's a thyroid interrupter, same thing with peanut butter. 13. Drink YellowPau d' Arco tea lightly steeped, tradition medicines is the brand to look for, at whole foods or Trader Joe's 14. Lot's of fresh water and get good quality sleep, that's when we exhale fat and dead tissue cells 15. Get your booty to a naturopath and have them test a hair sample for your trace mineral and vitamin levels and bring this list with you. They will tell you this wise older woman knows what she's talking about. It sounds like a lot but it's not. Adopt a no packaged garbage food lifestyle for you and the family, you'll see how much more energy you all have. The kids will do well to avoid all the chemicals and sugar from an early age. So healthy basics, add in nuts, cheese and for them some fresh fruit... I promise you we are design by God to be self healing. The right foods are medicine. Go onto YT and watch Dr. Berg's videos about Copper, magnesium, vitaminB1 and iodine. You won't regret it, I promise you. If you want to feel great 99% of the time, take my advice.😊 Much ❤ light and aloha.

Hi Sarah! Praying for you and your family 🙏🏻. I suffered from PCOS had two surgeries that I thought would heal me and help me have more babies, I had such severe pain and was diagnosed after my hysterectomy with severe Endometriosis. My left ovary was fused to my sacrum and my right pinned to a hip ligament and scar tissue everywhere. They were able to save my right for me thankfully, but it has been almost 2 years and I am still in pain, not as much but still enough. I would recommend massages especially lower back area, lots of epsom salt baths stretching and also magnesium needs to be in the diet. I found not eating any red meats helps with the bloating. But the best home remedies are those sweet babies and husband’s love and support. Those dark days remember you are not alone and they are going through it watching the woman they love the most going through this. You are not alone praying 🙏🏻 for you!

The Dr knew I wanted to have children but said it came down to quality of life at that point. I had a complete hysterectomy at 35. I was blessed with a son when I was 38 through adoption and a daughter 22 months later. We have an open adoption with both of our birth mothers and their extended families. I used to dye my hair this deep shade of red and yes, it is very tiring. So I ended up going back to brown and then I realized just HOW RED my hair actually was, even when I thought I needed to dye it again. Now I want it back lol The thing is, you have to go with your gut. Sometimes it's just too much work. However, if you feel like going back to red, then do. Just remember to always keep it hidrated, understand how your hair works to keep it healthy and just do what your gut tells you, girl. You'll be good no matter what :)

My endometriosis specialist recommended the following things - and it has reduced my pain massively (it hasn’t got rid of the pain, but it really has helped) & I hope some of these can work for sarah!! The following diets - Gluten free, Dairy free & Low FODMAP & LOW SUGAR (I feel this has made the biggest difference with pain). Exercise everyday - whether it be weightlifting, yoga or walking/cardio. Also magnesium supplements reduce muscle cramping, and electric heat pads are a life saver to reduce the pain. 8 hours sleep per night (and as little stress in your life as possible) allows your body to recover while resting which reduces inflammation - therefore reducing the pain. She also recommended acupuncture which I haven’t tried yet, but it’s supposed to be great!

After 2 preventative surgeries from my endometriosis, my OBGYN did the right thing…she did a hysterectomy. However, she found more problems so I also had an appendectomy- a 2 for 1 deal. The nurse in the ER - Linda…I will always remember her, she saved me! So, there I was, in the ER and after seeing what was going on she Linda said, “Oh honey! You’re going to need a hysterectomy! It will take a couple of months to recover…but, it will be the best surgery that you’ve ever had.”. She was SO right! Thank god I had the surgery when I did! Twenty two years later- it was the best surgery that I have had so far. My hysterectomy/appendectomy turned into a A++! I have had too many surgeries- over 12 of them…one was open heart ❤️ surgery and another was a craniotomy followed 3 years later by a Burr hole surgery. Oh…I had a major stroke from a patient foramen ovale- ostium secundum- a hole in my heart- between the atria/atrium…I forget which one- I think it’s atria. That is what caused my major stroke. People don’t believe in miracles- I definitely do! Good luck to (you) Sarah! Whether it’s another child and then the hysterectomy like Derik wants…well, if you (Sarah) do have the elective surgery…after a 2 month recovery, you will see what I mean!

I understand its hard to get pregnant with that but after having a hysterectomy i was told pregnancy cures it. When your children are young you think well i have two children so getting out of pain with surgery sounds good. Around 38 you will start thinking maybe another would be nice. That ship sailed. Its very sad.

Endometriosis Management (that worked for me) - Low Fodmap diet (this was key!) - Exercise - Low dose birth control pill - Odd tip - stopped using drinking straws (helped keep down bloat) My endometriosis diagnosis was extremely similar to Sarah’s. The low FODMAP diet has been life-changing for me, within a month I had great results since I figured out the foods I needed to avoid. Eliminated the extreme painful bloating and all that goes along with it. I pray you get relief and find solutions that work for you.

Cutting out all inflammatory foods (gluten, dairy and corn) helped (immensely) with the pain as well. I had my first child in 2013 and my second in 2016 (with only taking evening primrose oil). Sarah, as someone that works with OB/Gyns, it makes me nervous when people with Endo wait to have kids. That surgery may not work a second time. You should consult with your OB/Gyn and really consider if you would be okay being done having kids before delaying getting pregnant. On the other hand there is alway surrogates as a back up, it’s just expensive. On a much brighter note, I’m moving to the Kailua-Kona on Wednesday and I’m freaking out! Thanks for all the insight that your family has given me on the pros and cons of living in Hawaii!!!

I sure feel for Sarah and know what she’s going through, especially feeling bad with small children to take care of. I had endometriosis in my 30’s (I’m now 64). We had all the kids we wanted (3 sons) and then had a total hysterectomy. Before that, I would take birth control pills even through the 1 week off them as that would stop the pain if I didn’t have a period. I had multiple laparoscopies to remove the endometriosis scar tissue. Some of it had attached to my bowel, which caused alot of pain even when I wasn’t on my period. They couldn’t get all of the scar tissue removed with the laparoscopies, so a hysterectomy was the only answer. I had the surgery when our youngest was 7 months old. I will be praying for you. 🙏🏼❤️

I lost both my parents when I was 19 and 28. I have an old Valentine's card with a short handwritten message from both of them and I will be having that message tattooed on my left forearm when, budget-wise, it becomes a possibility. I chose that spot because you "wear your heart on your sleeve" and it's the sleeve closest to my heart. I will also be integrating my children into the tattoo in some way to have them, in some way, close to their grandparents (whom they will, sadly, never meet). You chose the spot that is most meaningful to you. You have to live with it for the rest of your life, not us. But I think seeing it often will always remind you of the love you had for each other and how special your bond was.

I think you would be very surprised how quickly you adapt to a tattoo that you can see daily, whereas on the back of your arm will be more of a reminder when you catch it at a glade type of feeling. I also think (speaking from experience) it helps with the healing process, turning a really traumatic sad thing into a happy/positive/memorable aspect the more you see it and live with it so closely. I hope you make the right decision for you! Such a special and meaningful gift to give to yourself. ♥

Coming from someone who has tattoos on both places you mentioned (my own experience and opinion): - inside of the arm: it is more delicate yes, but even though it’s in your sight, after a while it becomes a part of your arm and you don’t actually notice it anymore unless you stop to think about it. It becomes sort of like a birth mark or something - back of the arm: it hurts a lot less, and the cool thing about it is that when you look yourself in the mirror or in pictures in poses that it shows you get this feeling like ‘wow I have this I totally forgot that’s amazing’ as if you got a ‘new’ tattoo every now and then Don’t know if it helped but just trying to show you how either option works for me. But anywhere you choose it will look incredible, because it’s such a beautiful memory of her I love the idea ❤

I wasn’t “pain free” it just felt like the volume was turned down. It was the most relief I had in years. Although they may help relieve symptoms, Pregnancy & hysterectomy isn’t a cure. I am so sorry about your endo pain Sara. I had severe endo, like the worst you can get. I ended up having to have a full hysterectomy at a very young age and unfortunately wasn't able to have babies beforehand. I ended up adopting 2 babies instead. My advice would be, endure it for as long as you can until you decide for sure that you guys don't wish to have anymore kiddos, then explore all your options before making any decisions. Enough with the heavy! On to your hair! As gorgeous as you look with red hair, I have honestly really been missing the blonde! But you do you sis! As for your tattoo, I think on the back of your arm would be sweet. It's like you know it is there, your guardian angel sister perched on your arm, always having your back. But you don't always have to see it. It should be something sweet and meaningful for you, not a sad reminder. Much love to you and your Beeston Fam! God Bless you!
