Hearing this rendition of a Gershwin classic by the great Sarah Vaughan is like watching Picasso put the finishing touches on the canvass. Such fine strokes - some broad some delicate touches!

What a Voice,.... a True Gift. Today is 7 yrs. that My Dad, Dan passed; Ms Sarah was his Favorite Female Jazz Singer, and Joe Williams - Male!! Yes. She is my favorite female singer. Just beautiful. I remember this little tune called DOODLIN. Ms. Vaughan put in a class all its own. RIP dear Sarah Vaughan😍

@@RoryVanucchi Yes! And the man who wrote it was such a TALENT. I remember seeing him on THE MIKE DOUGLAS SHOW years ago circa 1960s or '70s. And then seeing John Lennon with Chuck Berry and later James Brown. Mike Douglas had a great show. RIP gentlemen😍
