Absolutely gorgeous! The Coral is amazing in there, something is purple and the Coral is crazy beautiful against it.. love that! I think Prussian and Deep Turquoise together are magic, and you do it so incredibly well! I love this! I would have tilted that Gold blobby part off and tried to open up the center with those Coral beautifuls but that would have changed the composition lol which is probably why mine never look like yours 😂 another amazing pour My Sweet Sarah, woo hoo! Love it!

Yes!! It looks like the deep blue and violet starry sky with a full moon (the white area) is reflected in the water to lighting up the pink bubble tip anemone! Very cool, Sarah!

Aww well it probably looked nice at the angel in which you saw it at. The problem was when looking at it straight on the gold had floated over all the detail and you couldn’t make it out as well as if you were looking at it at an Angel. I hope that makes sense.

Hi Sarah, I am going to try to mix some of the colours you have used here. You will know from my previous comment how much in love I am (we all are) with this painting. Dare I be brazen enough to ask which colours in this selection are iridescent? Not that there's an ice-cube's chance in hell of me matching them but I'd love to give it a try and I am also going to brave a bigger canvas this time too. Title in advance: The bowels of Hell! No prob it you'd rather not or don't have time. I know you are a very busy person and don't spend your entire life waiting on people like me to rock your day :-)

Actually none of these colors are iridescent this time. Metallic sapphire and metallic coral extreme sheen is what I used ☺️ wishing you all the luck! 💕💕💕

Jennifer Spencer I leave my paint sit typically over night and a lot of the paints I use have been used in previous pours and have been sitting for a week at times

Help! I have tried SOOOO many times on the 'right' mixture, and I cannot seem to get it right or get awesome 'cells'. Can't seem to get the right consistency. My Mixture.... Floetrol 1:1 Paint, and 1/2 pouring medium. Some colors I've added silicon, still, I can't match your 'sea' scenes :-(

I think your work is beautiful. I have never seen anything like it! I have a question: does torching cause the paint to start to dry? I know acrylic paint looses water quickly on the surfaces. Doesn’t that mean you loose some of the rings because the paint doesn’t want to flow as easily?

Thank you! No the torch isn’t drying any of it. I use the torch to pops air bubbles. There is not water in my paints just Floetrol and paint

Sarah Mack Acrylic paint has acrylic polymer as its binder and this forms a film after the water has evaporated (paint has dried). Vehicle - this refers to the part of the paint that carries the pigment and binder. Water is the vehicle for water-based acrylic and when combined with the binder, it creates a polymer emulsion. In other words all water based acrylic paints already have water when you buy them. The fact that you can add water means you use water-based acrylics. It is this water that I wonder about. Don’t you think your paints thicken slightly every time you torch them? I’m sorry and I apologize for making such a mess of this. I am a retired chemistry teacher. My daughter would just say I’m doing it again - but your art is amazing. It is beautiful but I am curious if you have ever noticed paint flowing slightly slower after you have torched it several times. That would be due to water evaporation.

Karen Leslie Ardagna I miss understood, I thought you were under the impression that I added more water. 😊 I don’t think I have noticed it moving slower though. But it’s hard to tell because I always torch. So I’m used to the paint moving as such.

What a beautiful painting!😍 I'm fairly new to doing paint pours (I started with vases and canvases), and I'm wondering what you sprayed the back of the canvas with before doing your pour. Was it water? I was under the impression you had to gesso over a canvas before re-painting it.

You can pour over a painting it doesn't really matter, just clean off any silicone first. She just sprayed water on the back this tightens up the canvas so it's less saggy in the middle. I do this with larger canvases before I use them but I then dry it with a hairdryer. Some dry it some don't, I prefer to.

I wanted to ask you something, can I use Satin Enemal (Seaside Blue) even with Pouring Medium or do I have to add an acrylic paint 🤔??
