What about maybe laying the bed out with everything and the cat in the cat bed by like the tree? Or even maybe at the end of her bed for when she wakes up? Like a nice surprise but it looks like the cats laying in it’s bed? I love that idea!

Watching a year later. Found your 2023 gift guide and watching older ones. Just wanted to say thank you for unlocking the Generation Girl memory in my head. I had to look them up but once I saw the hippy one and snowboard one I could vividly remember getting them for Christmas when I was a little girl. I also for some reason think there was a theme song for them? 😂😂 Anyone else know what I am talking about?

I love your gift guides! I was the same as you with Barbies. I’m older than you so I probably stopped playing with Barbie in the very early 90’s. I would love to get some of the dolls I had but they are expensive new! The Heart Family was so special to me. There were grandparents. So sweet. Mattel doesn’t make older looking grandparent dolls anymore.

I was just thinking about how they don’t have enough variety of ages for dolls. I would love to see older Barbies or even with the newer lines like LOL, they could bring out Mom lines haha. They have the toddlers, little sisters, tweens and OMGs. They just need to keep adding to the family. I would have loved some really cool and fashionable older dolls. Maybe that’s just me though haha.

Wrap a box and put holes in, like for breathing. With a big bow on top. Put the pet bed and bowls by the box or the box on the bed. Or Put the cat on the bed, with collar on it and set up the bowls, maybe add a cat toy. Dollar tree has cheap kitty stuff. Also, get an idea of what she might want to name a cat and put a pet tag from Walmart. Just a few ideas, maybe will help spark something!

Might have been mentioned already but would be so cute to put cat with cat bed in a box and some how ring/knock on front door on Christmas morning. Box would have wtiting from Santa or north pole and placed on door step, so it seems more authentic for her. Love the cat idea and all the other gifts! I always look forward to your videos!! 💖

My oldest is 15 she liked the original monster high dolls. Since they came out with a cartoon and the movie they re did the monster high dolls again. We live in Canada I got my oldest draculaura from a bookstore online. She doesn’t play with dolls anymore but enjoys collecting monster high and wants to get into bratz dolls which is another toy you can’t really find anymore.

Someone else commented that they had the same issue and they are from Flordia. So, i'm guessing its at least a nation wide thing. You normally hear about the 'big toy of the year' and how fast it's selling out but I haven't really heard many people talking about Monster High so I was a little bit surprised.

I'm 33 I had both those barbies. I had the whole set of the generation dolls. I was a big reader and I think I liked the books better than the dolls.

I wish! I got it two years ago from forever 21. But I’m sure with a little digging there may be something similar. I so want the whole pink feather trimmed robe and little kitten heels aesthetic!

Aw yay! I am so glad they are helpful because they are so fun for me to share with you as well! I have seen them and I'm sure a year down the road when they aren't making those particular RH dolls my girls will want them because that's what always happens to me haha. They want limited edition dolls that came out like two years ago so that has been a journey to get my hands on them haha.

Your videos are such a joy 😊 so many wonderful ideas. My daughter is 4 and hasn't really shown an interest in dolls (and my childhood self is crying 😭) but I don't force her on the idea. I, like you, was super into my Barbies. I did get her a fidgie doll (that is the only doll this year, 🤞 she likes it!) How neat you talked about Ivy and Bean; my son adores that series (and the Matilda movie) I ordered him the Matilda book but it won't arrive until after the new year (thanks Amazon lol) I think he would really love this Ivy and Bean series though. He also shows an interest in the Captain Underpants and Goosebumps series. Any ideas what would be a good game my 4 year old could play? She doesn't really adhere to the rules (and her behavior is becoming a struggle to control) anywho, thank you Sarah for listening and for sharing 💚❤ I think a wonderful way to present Olive her cat would (if able) to have it lay down "sleeping" on her cat bed 😸 what do you think?

Candyland is a good starter game for them. The more she plays the more she will go by the rules. Especially if she sees other kids playing by the rules

Yes!!! I agree, they are beautiful! My girls weren't into them for whatever reason and i'm like, why ? 😫 I swear those dolls are more for me than for them at this point haha.

@@SarahMarieP oh and I got my son that same blank comic book! I found another one thats so cool, they fill it in then you mail it back to the company and they publish a professional copy for you! It’s called lulu jr my comic book making kit. There’s another version I picked up called illustory it’s the same just story form instead of comic and they publish it in hard cover

I always start filming it but then get distracted and never finish so hopefully this is the year that it all comes together! I just try to make sure I am present and enjoying the moment because it's my favorite couple of hours of the whole year and I try and savor it.

Haha I’m sorry if that was confusing. My daughter wants a real cat but we’re getting her a toy cat. I wanted ideas on how to gift it to her on Christmas morning because she wants to have the experience that she sees on KZfaq/tv, where kids get a real pet kitten or puppy and they open a box and out pops a pet with a big bow.

For the cat, I would put the collar on a tree with a tag that says go here for you purrfect present. Have the cat set up in another room or something

Just wanna say your makeup is flawless and beautiful! and shame on them for pointing out your makeup! like wth! you did scale back :( this year but I did too! so i totally understand that! maybe have the box with FROM SANTA written all over it in front of the tree and right before you allow her to go in the room put your phone under the "cat" and have a meowing video playing so she hears it meowing! oh my I think she would totally get that shock and suprise feeling she is wanting to experience! even say to her "OH my do you hear that! I wonder whats in that box! and be recording with your hubbys phone or your camera! You all did amazing with their gifts! merry christmas!

They only have youtube kids and so they can't find it on there because I mark that my content is not "made for kids". I don't think they have ever seen this tren of video before so they wouldn't even know what to search up or my username if they tried on the regular youtube app. I am honestly wondering though how much longer I can get away with it though haha.

I rarely order from them because I have had so many problems with their shipping in the past but I took a chance and regretted it. Also, their return policy has changed recently. Apparently you have to have used your rewards account when you purchased the item or they won't let you return or even exchange it for the same thing! I got a high end highlighter for a gift but it's the wrong shade for me and they refuse to let me exchange it since it wasn't on a rewards account.
