KARASUNO CANNOT GET TIRED!!! They have to stay focused to play more volleyball!! I am getting so worked up watching this match, and my heart can't take it. Tsukishima continues to have a room in my love house, and Kageyama is a stone-cold killer, especially with Tendou in his face. It's incredible. Also... baby Asahi and Suga and Daichi are melting my heart. They are absolutely adorable!!!

Sarah Pavan is a Canadian beach volleyball Olympian and World Champion. She is the 3-time FIVB World Tour Best Blocker, and one half of 2019’s Most Outstanding Team. Before playing beach volleyball, Sarah Pavan was one of the world’s top indoor volleyball players. @@tastyfruitz Crazy when you think abt the fact that it's just mainly one person (Furudate-sensei, the mangaka) who wrote the story and "choreographed" the matches. If you read the manga, the matches are even longer, more detailed, and pull you in just as much as the anime does, which is really hard to do for a sport like volleyball. Also, the flow of action is very clear and it's not hard to tell what's going on, what play they're doing etc. That's great storytelling, manga panelling, drawing AND volleyball expertise all in one!

if you write fanfiction or know anyone who does, please let them know about the program/website that you use for translation. I mean this sincerely. sometimes all a great writer needs a good translation app to keep grammar consistent. as an ESL person I've had to deal with translation platforms with regards to my writing. it can be traumatizing 🌟

what I really love about Sarah's reaction compare to other pro volleyball player/coach is how much she enjoy the show. Other reactors focus too much on explaining the technique that they miss some cool scene or it gets too informative, and here she is just chilling watching Haikyuu

I love how Hinata is so adept at understanding people. He might seem like a goofball who just wants to play volleyball, but he always knows just the right thing to say to push his teammates over the edge. Like when kageyama seemed to be gassing out going into set 5, Hinata knows that they both want to play volleyball until they drop dead so he gets kageyama back into the game and remotivated by pushing just the right buttons. "More importantly, we get to play one more set 😁"

Honestly, I also love how he does this unintentionally most of the time. Like he's just like that, he's nice and outgoing and kind and his excitement and good cheer inspire and motivate the people around him :D Hinata is so precious, one just has to love him

@@dannysea6980 I believe it was coach Donny (who also reacts to Haikyu) who described Hinata as emotionally intelligent, which would explain Hinatas moments like these. I freaking love this term so much because it acknowledges that there are genuinly different types of intelligence and it also just fits Hinata to a T! It is why everyone love him!

Daichi's flashbacks to "when you have an opportunity you have to take it!" gives me chills. I also recorded the episode where Ukai's VA changed... I'm heartbroken. It's just not the same

Tsukishima's moment might be number 1 this season, but Daichi's "Now, we have to go now" is just about the most powerful line this season for me. The sense of urgency is over 9000!!!

OMG, this is WHY I love Sarah's reactions so bad! I literally watch almost every reactions of Haikyuu!! and yet no one can do it like Sarah. I honestly couldn't get that much from the 1st time watching it despite being quite accustomed to anime in general, but Sarah is just *chef's kiss. I love the fact that she is so absorbed, seeing her making creepily-precise predictions always hype me up, it just shows how much she paid attention to the show and how experienced she is with volleyball. Watching her reactions always give you that feeling when you first watch Haikyuu!!, and I even get more than that. Everyweek when her video come out, I can't help it but feeling crazily delighted just like when I'm waiting for a new episode of a drama I love whole-heartedly. I honestly feel like we can be besties if we had a chance to meet up 🤣.

I love that scene of Hinata keeping his eyes open, evaluating what is happening in the moment/air battle, and hitting the ball with his left. It is one of many scenes that continue highlight the importance of Hinata's growth towards being his own player, keeping his eyes open and not closed or relying purely on Kageyama and the super quick. Love your reactions as always, been my favorite by far over the years of youtubers reacting to this show! :)

12:06 here, tsuki told kageyama about him trying the delayed quick, and kageyama’s response was, 12:09 “I can do it, but can you?” the delayed quick, they didn’t practice it beforehand, it was the first time kageyama and tsuki do that :))

Great reactor. Obviously enjoys and is invested to the anime but also adds her volleyball knowlegde and even calls out bullshit moves/tactics. I think she can tell how good the creators captured the spirit of volleyball or even team sports in general. Afterwards I watched the 2019 final of the beach volleyball world cup. Winning with a great block. No wonders she likes Tsukki. Felt like a Haikyuu remake.

I wanna share here why I feel frustrated. I feel that way because I found about this channel pretty late. Sarah's reaction are the best by far. I love her reactions, I love her goosebumps, I love her comments, everything. She is enjoying the show almost the way I enjoyed it too, and that makes me enjoy her reactions. Not only did the current 3rd years go into a Karasuno that had declined and had no real foundation, they stuck around all that time practicing and getting better so that they would be the foundation for the newcomers. Appreciate the reaction as always Sarah And just as a side note I actually agree with you about Ushiwaka, people give his comments a pass because he's always stoic and blunt with everyone .. but he's definitely being willfully rude to Hinata and doesn't like him by his own admission lol

Watching you feel frustrated with Shiratorizawa scoring and have great plays with a mixture of awe and “yeah that’s a great move” but hating it coz Karasuno might take the set. I feel it coz We’ve all been through that. 😂 Don’t hate Tendou 😅he’ll grow on you I promise. Ugh I'm so conflicted all the time!! I want Karasuno to win so bad, and Shiratorizawa kinda bothers me, but then they make a great play and I'm like, "welp... ok. That was nice." 😂 I don't love them, but I can't deny good plays. Approximately when are we expecting Tendou to grow on me? Because I keep waiting, and it's NOT happening!

I was always on the edge of my seat when I watched this season and I’m not gonna spoil anything but the next few episodes are going to be intense. Tendou is like that weird kid that is misunderstood but he is a true friend and just wants to have fun. His backstory just really resonated with me. 🥹

The third years backstory always gets me. They were left 4 dead but they refused to held down and are now pivotal parts in a championship level team. Have you ever been in that situation? Where you were basically left to fend for yourself and had to struggle your way out of it? How'd you deal with that situation?

Between suga's and kageyama's serve the anime cut a couple of points that are present in the manga.

I don't know if you noticed this but after Suga helped them get the set point on his serve that he did not serve the last point like he was supposed to that they completely took him off the court and made it look like Kageyama was the one serving that last point. That was a little mistake that animators made it is like they forgot to keep Suga in for the finally play of the 4th set. Plus with way the coach says in the beginning of the next episode it should help with make the mistake a little more obvious.

Excellent question... even though it's origins are from indoor, I employ it on the beach every now and then. I would say I've had more success with it indoor, but maybe because I've done it more there 😆

Can someone clarify something for me real quick? I just noticed now (and I may be missing something) but Suga went in to serve and Karasuno got the point, getting the lead for set point. So why, after scoring the point Suga served, Kageyama was the one serving? And what happened to Suga in this last point?
