Best part is Ranni based her doll appearance after a snow witch who was like a mentor to her. So she basically made her own cosplay in the game. So this is a cosplay of a cosplayer.

FLOCKING! That’s how you could hide the seams! Shred some of the fleece into fluff, put glue on seam, let it dry and then shave it down. I found your channel recently so you’ll probably never see this but I love it!

You are such a huge inspiration to me! I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I've been binging ever since. Not only are you super entertaining and funny but you have a profound amount of knowledge on sewing. And I thought I knew how to sew! I noticed that with a ton of the famous cosplayers (not naming who) their knowledge begins and ends with: ducktape pattern, always use stretchy fabric for a huge margin of error, sew and then add velcro with hot glue for closure. I've learned more from just three of your videos compared to the hundreds of cosplay tutorials out there. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.

Seeing your process for this in depth is so neat! Ranni turned out SO GOOD! I think I saw you from afar at Momo when you were in her, and that hat was impressive!! Also, super glue is ideal for gluing nails to the gloves, but I also learned that clear nail polish works surprisingly well! I used that and only had to reglue like 4 nails with super glue once I could get my hands on some.

Big thank you for this Video. It helped me a lot to create a big Final Fantasy Style witch hat. I simplified some elements: - Smaller brim - no wire - only 1 level of interfacing but thicker sleaze - No overlay layer and did not care about the seams - I am new with tailoring... no sewing machine - Belt as decoration turned out well :) maybe Big Hat Logan Hat is next.

I sometimes use a pair of plyers to pull needles through stiff or thick fabric. I also recommend a metal thimble to push through the needle from the back end. I have a bronze thimble ring I love to use. I got it years ago at a Renfair/SCA event, but I am sure they are available elsewhere. 😊 I once hurt my wrist quilting fleece blankets, so be aware of how much hand sewing you do at a time if it is rough going.
@milkjamjuice
@milkjamjuice 2 ай бұрын
My hands FELT every single pull of that curved needle through the layers. If you find yourself pulling needles through tacky areas again, a pack of silicone finger grippers really help to speed up the process and they make it a lot less painful. :D Your cosplays are friggin amazing btw

I continued to work on the pants for my son in this one. Felt very different to be doing actual sewing project rather then crochet XD You used the Superior Glitter threads! : D They have an ENTIRE line and they're AMAZING! For machine if anyone else is struggling, you MUST **MUSTMUST** thread it FLAT, if it twists the thread will eventually snap on you because the twist creates extra tension. I used one of those seperate thread holders that holds the thread up in the air so I was completely certain it wouldn't twist. Worked great, no issues. For handsewing I tie the tails together, if you're familiar with metallic threads it's kind of like that except I think it's less fiddly because it's flat. It is also as gorgeous as you think it will be and if you want to use a LOT of it in a concentrated area, I recommend trying to keep it all going the same way because it can feel kinda gross if it's going in all kinds of different directions. It does satin stitch really beautifully but if you're doing it by hand (not sure about machine) you'll want to go back and forth a couple times to make sure it gets the coverage you want. It layers really nicely unless you super zoom in it looks messy. But it's super super fun to work with, I absolutely love it.
