Hi Ella, would you recommend moving to Mac from Windows since I've always seen Windows laptops slowing down over time? Also to not land into same issue, have you seen your Macbook slow down ever?

Although the notch might be annoying for some users, I would prefer to have it shown. It's what makes the new models of MacBook distinct from the rest. And that notch is the reason why there are thinner bezels. It disappears anyways when you're on full screen.

I agree! I like the notch and want to always see it, because I always want to see my menu bar. I use it often and it’s annoying having it disappeare

First-time mac user here who is VERY scared of how difficult the transition will be. Thank you for making this video.
@ruk2023--
@ruk2023-- Жыл бұрын
For the majority of transition problems remember that the command key is generally the mac version of the windows control key - e.g - command + c copies in mac, control + c copies in windows. Apart from that the only real differences day to day are finder vs explorer and how to open apps. The apps themselves are almost identical to windows ones, assuming you're using the common productivity tools.

Didn't know about any of these options, probably the best Mac video I've seen. I did toggle my finder to group similar items though, this way it'll group all pdf, images, documents together in divergent rows so that I'm not sifting through random docs for a pdf I might need.

Awesome ideas and thank you for all the cool open-source software ideas! My only gripe with the "more space" part is that I've come to that milestone in life that includes "macular degeneration", which is what happens when one begins to edge upwards in their quinquagenerianism... Looking forward to more, Ella!

Linear Mouse has quickly become my favorite application. It surprises me that mac os still does not have functionality to tweak pointer acceleration settings. Mouse acceleration can be helpful when using a smaller trackpad, but when using a desktop, mouse acceleration negates the consistency most consumers look for when purchasing a mouse.
