I got married in Sarasota, my kids are born in Sarasota , our whole life begin in Sarasota . Now we are living in Connecticut , but we are moving back soon. I found that that God wants me to live and enjoy life in Sarasota. My kids watched this video and they cry because we missed our home . We will be there soon !!

I remember watching this video last summer right after i returned to NY from Florida. Sarasota was the last place i visited and was deciding to move there. I was watching your high quality video like 25 times and decided to move there. Now I live here close to Siesta Key, and it was the best decision i ever made. Thank you for creating such an amazing video about Sarasota .

Born and raised in Sarasota. I'm still here 35 years later and can't imagine living anywhere else... Although I do sometimes forget just how beautiful my city is. So, thank you for this video! Thank you for the reminder of how lucky I am to live here!

@@leelunk8235 Exactli, wh is it? Its onl good if one is rich, and older. Its not my type of town to settle down in. Tampa is my fave. and thats another thing, St Pete is also overrated now. Sarasota and Clearwater/Largo are 2 spots i cant ever live in again, even visit.

Anyone that lives in Sarasota is lucky. I'm from Scotland and have been holidaying in SRQ 30 years of my 31 years of life. My dream is for a holiday home by the time I'm 40 in Sarasota. This video brings everything back to me in this time of lockdown when we cannot visit. Cannot wait to meet again Sarasota, hopefully not too long. Thank you for the memories.

I grew up on Siesta Key and lived in the Sarasota area for about 30 years. It’s a great city. My Mom and Brother still live there. Just too hot and humid for me, and when it cools off for a couple months, the snowbirds invade and it is too crowded. But if you like hot n humid weather, it’s a great city.

I went to Sarasota for a couple days before I went to Orlando. Let me tell you, Sarasota was WAY better! Orlando is great if you like tourists, theme parks, restaurants, and hotels. But being in Sarasota by the water is so beautiful and relaxing and exciting. The coast is where it's at! One day I want to live in Florida! I'm from Michigan, so winter is not fun.

I lived in Sarasota (old Kensington Park) and went to SHS class of 84 (Go Sailors). My favorite place in town was the Marina. But this is like a whole different town, it made wants to go back (which I plan to do this summer). Nice short film. Thank you. I’m sharing it with my daughters 😊

For those moving here or in the area around Sarasota, I would recommend moving to North Eastern Manatee county. The homes are beautiful and the distance from any major city is relatively the same. It also is having an industrial boom as a new area is being made called North River.

Thanks for the update on living in this wonderful city. I lived there for about 32 years, but left there 20 years ago when the summers became too much for me. If you are of the younger generation and love the water, this is where you should experience it and enjoy it every day. Spring and Fall are the best times for visitors, and if you can stand the very hot and humid climate, then let the summer be included. Great job on your photography.

My wife and I took a day trip to the area from Tampa this past Saturday (05/09). If you appreciate movie set like scenery, it exceeds expectations. The emerald and blue waters look almost fake. The beach in Venice was full of sea turtle nest markers. It was really neat to see nature taking back the beaches during the Pandemic. As always, great video.

Yeh a few things he missed out on but still a good video. I would’ve done maybe an aerial of the best Hospital around in Fl. I would’ve done another of that area Neighborhood. Fishing charters. Mote Marine etc. oh yeh. Not one thing on downtown

wow...i am highly impressed. I had my heart moving to Jacksonville but now you made me rethink. I grew up in southern calif and moved to Oregon in my mid 20's and now that I'm approaching 60 it's time to go back to where there's sunshine and beaches. FL was my 1st pick.

WA state is so bad my coworkers who lives there in the Vancouver area has to cross state line to go to work. I left calif for a better place to live financially and to be close to my dad who lived there with his 2nd wife and my half sister. My older sister by same dad moved there and I thought why not? Now I can't even see a future in this state with over taxtation. I don't mind paying my fair share of tax but when it affects my future retirement I am forced to move away. FL seems like a fair state. My Aunt lives there and I have a few classmates that lived there for years so it seems like a good choice. Beside...I sorely miss the ocean and Love to get back into boogieboarding!

Thanks for the video! I lived in Sarasota all my life. Moved to Europe 2019 miss home so much and everyone I love is there! Can’t wait for the pandemic to pass, and to get home for a visit 🤍

I dont. I like other places around Sarasota but I dont like Sarasota. I like Apollo Beach, Bradenton, Valrico, SOUTH TAMPA. I do not like Sarasota or a lot of St Pete though.

Had six great winters in Nokomis,and loved the beaches and lifestyle this part of Florida offers, however as I am from the uk ,as my wife and I got older we found the cost of Healthcare insurance prohibitive and sadly sold our home there and now winter in southern Europe which is much more affordable for older people who require health insurance.

Another great video of the homestead! The wife and I were perusing Treasure Island last weekend and it was pretty full (public parking lot was full). We all maintained our required 6 feet. Heading to SRQ this weekend. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!

North Port Florida is part of Sarasota county 16 minutes away from Venice. Little Myaaka runs through there also Warm Mineral Springs. Neither mentioned bc it’s a sleepy town.

My Fam lives there... grew up in Port Charlotte. I hated it as a kid as stated it is a sleepy town. In my older years however I have come to understand why my parents loved it here so MUCH. Living in Central Florida really has made me appreciate my home more then ever.... Just booked a week in turtle Beach can't WAIT! The waters callin!!
