Wearing saree is this much difficult that we need to prepare everything in advance.. ironing saree is okay but ironing after pleating won't give that fresh look.. usually we will get arch like shape in every pleats(not pallu,) from hip line to bottom.. that arch like shape or that bends in every pleats that too at bottom finishing line will give you nice look..

Wrap the saree roughly around your body and mark the pallu starting point on your shoulder, and then mark the start and end points of front pleats (putting safety pins on the saree is the easy and usual way to mark)

For big functions this is useful. Whr u just have to go and drape the saree.. Especially when u in hurry. And if in hurry you go to wear saree as normal definitely it won't b as you want it to fit on u. Also this method is mainly used for brides who wants to change quick in wedding

All these videos of poking fine silk sarees with hundred pins and pressing directly with a hot iron 🙄. * Atleast use a news paper between saree and iron * Pin the pleats at one end, hold it with a big clothes peg at the edge of a dining table and adjust the whole length at once (like we do when wearing a saree directly), no need to do in tiny sections and use bunch of pins

Hey i have a doubt 1) what is the classic width of a pleat (im not talking about the length of the pallu) Second is why does the borders doesn't come right when i pleat, the top border n back border doesn't seem to align properly with the width of other pleats

Take rest of the pleats half the length of the first one u will get it perfect and regarding width of pleat it’s your choice u can keep smaller or lil larger
