This was my very first time sharing this experience on camera. Please be kind as my language is a bit sporadic and unorganized. I will welcome any questions as long as they are respectful to the boundaries I have stated in the video. Thank you for taking the time to watch this part of my story. I am so lucky and thankful to share it all with you.

I haven't watched the video yet but when I was little I was told my dad wasn't my dad and he's actually my step dad at the time it didn't matter my dad was still my dad, but as I grew older my siblings would poke jabs at me and pushed me into a feeling that i was actually missing a part of me through him i must have been about 12 when i would spend hours and hours on the internet repeatedly ringing every person with his name, i finally at 20 found a auntie that knew where he was.... I hope you don't give up because I know it's emotional everytime you hype yourself up searching but I'm sure your day will come like I did , all I ever wanted to do was hold my dad's hand once before he ever dared left this earth and when we met as I left he grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go 😢😂❤ I don't know how many times I cried as a teen wanting that for him and then in the moment realising I wanted it for me too 😂❤❤❤

Such a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing it with us. My dad was adopted and he tried for so long to find his biological family, but never got anywhere with it so he gave up. His biggest fear was them thinking he wanted money and they wouldn't want to meet him. Your story is so beautiful! Never give up on what you want ❤

Wow that was truly such a beautiful heartwarming story, I'm so happy you managed to meet your donor and find all the answers to your curiosities. I'd love if you could make a video on your ED experiences and how you overcame them. As someone who has lived with an ED for over 20 years now I find it inspiring when others are able to escape the clutches of it. Proud of you!

I remember when i was younger i saw a documentary that spoke about fathers and daughters and that fathers will also think of their daughter when their daughter thinks of them, i never met my dad until i was 20 a couple of days after i met him for the first time i all of a sudden remembered what i saw on this documentary and i though oooo i wonder and in that moment my dad text me thinking of you hope your okay x , i believe this documentary knew what they were talking about👏 I hope that brings comfort to anybody who is looking for their dad , dads never forget us ❤

I love hearing this. I’ve searched for my father’s, father for years. I even did ancestry and have gotten his mother’s info, but it’s his dad we don’t know. Never met him and believe he was like a “fling” for his mom. This gives me hope that just maybe someday we will finally know. If not it’s ok, we have a great life but it would be nice to just know.

My mom was adopted. She found her bio family in 1984. Then I did the DNA test. Surprise! The "biofamily" calls the DNA wrong. The DNA family also says it's impossible. Now I have adopted family, biofamily and DNA family.

Wonderful 2 hear your story.!!! I never saw a Pic or met my dad .and my mom wont give me answers.or his name . I'm still looking 4 him ..did the ancestry test ..got really no answers I'm not gonna let this or their horrible choices take over my life. And yes ppl can be rude and cruel 😢 and can't see or understand real beauty

I’m so happy you got to meet your dad Cherish every moment with him my dad was adopted and he never got to know anything about his biological parents and he really wishes he did. He tried, but he couldn’t find anything. He just really wanted to know what they look like and their medical history that’s about it and if he had any Brothers or sisters. If I ever gave a kid up for adoption, I would love to know keep her relationship with the kid because I would like to know how much better of a life that kid is getting with its new parents then it would have with me. And if I was a donor, I would like to know what family my donor egg ended up, making very happy because they couldn’t have a kid for whatever reason so I’d like to know the kid.

I would love to talk to you. Of course mo personal questions. I found out through ancestry, who I thought was my grandfather is not. I did figure out who my biological grandfather is. I messaged me through Facebook and wrote him a letter. I haven't heard back from him. I'm guessing I won't but who knows. I'm a mess. I love following you. You give me hope ❤️

Would mine be ivf or donor? My mom didn’t have someone she had me with so she used one of those two. She’s never really talked about it and when I’m old enough I’d like to know what the other half of my dna is. I also don’t know if my brother has a different half of dna because I don’t know how it works and he looks a lot different than my mom and I but he is her biological child

How awesome! Im big into ancestry and stories like this newly myb heart. Have u also gotten to have a relationship with your half siblings(his kids.) Is he also a donor to others? Sorry for being nosey but I'm a curious soul like you lol
