The SaReNi United / REITER Engineering Chevrolet Camaro GT3 is one of the cars which I was positively impressed of this year.
In 2010 Hans Reiter, Reiter Engineering founder and director, had an idea to convert a Chevrolet Camaro into a GT. After months of work and tests the car was ready and Reiter Engineering established a new division in the form of SaReNi Camaro whose target is to transform the Camaro into a trendsetting racecar.
The car is moved by a 7.9 litre V8 engine (designed and manufactured by Katech) which is able to produce more than 650 hp and a max torque of 800 Nm.

Having finally heard on in the flesh.. Of the fat sounding, rumbling V8's (SLS, Bentley, 650s) this one takes the cake. Better tone. Love it!

I'm not really a fan of Cameros, but holy shit, the front end of that thing looks mean! And what is it about American V8s? Videos never really seem to do them any justice. They're always much better in person. Well, I guess pretty much everything is better in person. So that's not very fair to say. But does anyone else get what I mean? Maybe I just have shitty speakers.

Nick Gregory Sorry I got so defensive. Your tone seemed unnecessarily hostile. That's what I reacted to. And if you're American then you're definitely wrong about punctuation. Look it up. If the sentence ends in quotations, you place the period or coma within the quotation marks. lern 2 grammarr.

Nick Gregory I'll join this grammar nazi debate. "No it isn't, it's in the right place" and "It's spelled "Camaro", it's in the fucking title." are not grammatically correct. You separated two complete clauses with a comma in both cases (comma slice); there should be a period instead. Also, SpaceManDawn pointed out another flaw in your text. :)

Yes - for me the interest Cars in 2013-2014 !!! The Modern GT-Car, a shame that i havent enough money for such a car, i am only drive a Mercedes 190 :-). And your Videos have so amazing Quality - better than TV - thanks that your share your "Hobby - prviate Interest" with us - cheers mike

This ain't your typical Camaro found at the drag strip, Cleetus. This was probably heavily modified for GT racing thus barely resembling the Camaro at your Chevy dealers. No way a showroom Camaro can take corners like that without major suspension mods. I could be wrong.. heh.

tripleheshy It would be the same thing. These cars get so heavily modified they're no longer related to the originals. McLaren MP4-12C aside, these space frames will get reinforced and rollcaged to a completely different level.

since GM doesnt make a factory spec GT3 car, SaReni made one. This is just an SS model, and this isnt 1979 anymore. These cars can handle and take corners and brake fine. the Z/28 Camaro, is a PURE bread road course car you can buy from the factory.. I would imagine they would have used similar parts from that... or, since even corvette bits.

Mike Hunt Well the Z28 has a LS7 engine. It's also not your run of the mill Camaro. It's got massive tires, different brakes and upgraded suspension. supercooled Don't be confused by corner speed, in fact, don't be confused by what you percieve as good handling. The guy behind the wheel is a racing driver and will make it look easy. That crisp direccion change at Ascari is skillful weight transfer. Grippy tires, a stiffer chasis and good suspension tuning will make a car handle like this, but it will probably be snappy at the limit.

they no longer exist. the sareni camaro GT3 last drove in 2014. this was ADAC GT Masters race series from germany

I came home from the racing weekend of DTM (Deutsche Touren Meisterschaft) in Nürburgring, they drive GT3 cars, M4, Huracan, R8, AMG GTR, 488GTB, etc After the race i thought, a shame there is no Corvette GT3 driving. Remembered the sareni Camaro was a thing, and looked for footage :) I recommend you to look for Corvette C6 Z06 R GT2 footage aswell. Menacing sounds!

7.9L? fuuuck. but, why lol. that kind of displacement for 650hp seems like unnecessary weight. I cant imagine it gains any advantage in the fuel economy department either... I wonder how many more stops they'd need in a 24h lol

T.B. Squad unneccesary weight? Its a LS engine, its light AF. And a 7,9L LS7 is going to be even lighter! The engines weights 187kg
