@@OhSoNastyyeps get ready for double cost and upgrade time, for defenses and troops, if you go to TH 14, although you'll upgrade most defenses one time only. Ready enough hammers and/or books and runes to have a good start

I think these tend to be rushed bases, and since rushing focuses on Offense most of the time, defences don't get upgraded, or to be specific there are no spare builders for them, so all excess gold goes into walls. Only after you are done upgrading offensive buildings and almost done with heroes, this is when the lower tier defences can get more love.

Even if you pressed the lvl 13 wall, you had 8,400,000 gold, and each wall to lvl 14 is 3,200,000 so 2×3,200,000=6,400,000 but you had 8,400,000 so you would have 2,000,000 gold left 8,400,000-6,400,000=2,000,000, which even for geme spree is a lot

Best thing u can do is when u have maxed gold u can upgrade ur th to either the next level or to a star u can max out ur gold again then upgrade walls then cancel ur th upgrade and get gold back from ur th and upgrade more

As someone who maxed TH9 and disappeared from CoC a while back, not sure what I’m looking at but if I do decide to continue plying, I think I’ll keep all the walls on level 10 unless it’s a mandatory upgrade. Also this explains why people rush their bases.
