Sariputra and Maha Mougliyaya spent their Varshavas in Khiri in Rajgir.
Khiri: In page 161 second para Huen Tsang writes, “Not far from this is a stupa. This is the place where Sariputra and Maha Mougliyaya dwelt during the rainy season.” I have chosen Khiri to be the place where Sariputra and Maha Mougliyaya spent a Varshavas. During Varshavas they must have eaten Khir which is rice milk. And the fact that Khiri is between Kalsila cave and Dumri stupa of Anand proves that I am right. Xuan zang takes us systematically from Dumri stupa, to Khiri stupa and then to Kalsila cave where the first convocation took place.
