Too much unnecessary importance and teaching religion only to one gender, creates these kind of societal problems. This is result of how people brought Hindustani Islam with them and due to subcontinent history . People adapted to more hindu values and later western values. For some reason People in pakistan especially the educated class always had question about identity. On top of it. Some how it was taught in schools, colleges and media that a woman who wears abaya is not the educated one, and the women who wears jeans is the enlightened one. Then on top of it pakistan patriarchal society whether it is the abaya women or jeans women, they cannot question neither men who want to question , they cannot question due to family values.

What an amazing interview? What Sarwat said about politics, religion , rape and banning content are the same stuff happening in India today. Not sure which sane voice would be the next target of the ruling class.
