Yeah Tokyo Ghoul really puts it into perspective, one time you're on the humans' side and say that ghouls are awful and then when you're shifted on the ghouls' perspective you see how some humans (Mado, Hairu and some others, Kijima) are absolutely disgusting people and take pleasure in killing ghouls by the dozen. And when they're faced with ghouls that actually are decent and not harmful to humans they just don't even acknowledge it and think they're just disgusting ghouls anyway. We root for both but both are wrong
