This is basically what happens when a comedy show and a singer make joke song snippets and a whole bunch of the artists of the real genre find it really funny and have too much time on theri hands thanks to c*rona and decide to make it all a real song.

Yes, it is German. If you like this you should check out Feuerschwanz. They used to be a more comedic band but over the last few years they found their groove in medieval metal. They perform in costume with bagpipes, hurdy gurdy, violin, flutes and lutes. Their latest album, Memento Mori, was released new years day and hit #1 in the German charts a week later. Edit: Just noticed you've already seen Warriors of the World United. 😁🤘

This song has a really funny story: German singer Sasha wrote a few deliberately bad songs, including one in medieval style, as a social experiment. (He wanted to see if his fans would still like these bad songs.) But then a bunch of folk bands decided to make it a real song and Sasha joined. xD The song itself has pretty funny lyrics about a merchant and a maid falling in love, but both have ridiculous sounding names (Dideldei and Dumdidudl).
