Sask. Oilers fans devastated over Edmonton’s 2-1 Stanley Cup Loss

The Edmonton Oilers failed to drag the Stanley Cup back to Alberta for a sixth time after a nerve-wracking Game 7 in Florida on Monday. The Florida Panthers won the low-scoring game 2-1.
Across Saskatchewan, lifelong fans have soaked up the nerve-wracking series, with the Oilers losing the first three games of the best-of-seven before rebounding with three wins of their own.
CKOM and CJME had reporters in Edmonton, Imperial, Regina and Saskatoon to cover fan reaction to Game 7.

Thank you Panthers for not sweeping the Oilers. But to give these fans hope, a chance to succeed, an opportunity to win it all, only to then snatch it all away. Absolutely brilliant.

Every Pro Team has some terrible fans. Edmonton has got to be close to the top of the List. The tears of Oiler fans is so delicious and nourishing. Not a Panther fan, just a hockey fan.

That is true as well as fact. Endless rigged number "one" picks. Connor I can walk on water McDavid. Playing in 2 Billion Dollar Tax-Payer funded and built "arena". The whole Peter Pocklington debacle. It just never ends in Deadmonton. BTW, where does #99 live these days? We can safely tell you it is not in Kanaduh. We say Kanaduh because of Trudope. будет у них победа...я желаю им на следующий сезон.....хорошая команда..Скиннер получил колоссальный опыт....имеют такого игрока как МакДи, что мешает повторить тот же путь, что сделала Флорида Пантерс...взяла Кубок Стэнли со второй попытки...верить в себя..и у хоккейного Бога теперь должок перед Ойлерс и лично перед Коннором МакДэвидом

it sucks they lost but im still so proud how far they got, they still broke records for doing something that is unheard of, getting to game 7 isnt easy to do, it just wasnt there night and hopefully next year they can win it
