The mastering on this is fucking great. The drums sound absolutely CRISP and amazing. Love the bass. Everything just sounds amazing, how metal should sound.

well I think the bass drums sound muffled to much and the snare sound changes trough out lol. the drummer is not consistent.

It really isn't. It's been brickwalled to death and there's that 'pumping' / 'ducking' sound throughout. The compositions are great though.

also their lead guitarist is amazing. i may b ewrong in saying he is not the origional he has aged like wine. so good. in the the pocket they were as you would expect. FLAWLESS.

For me Satan is number one in legue of tradicional metal. Influence from first progressive vibe from early 70 plus Sabbath, Priest, Purple, UFO, early Scorpions and Uriah heep,King Crimson. Found out about these guys after listening to blind guardian's somewhere far beyond. At first I didn't realize the song " trial by fire" on that CD was a cover, had to look it up, and man, every album of these guys is great 👍.

saw them in SF on tour in support of this album. they SO locked in tight they sounded to me their very best. Their sound was like of the production of this and court in the act .it was pure amazement. I heckled Jeff Ross and he gave it right back between songs. i called him a cheeky prick. he said work on yer accent". and this was san Fran 2015. i was 31.fully wasted on Cider and the lot... LEGENDARY. as Fallen Saviour ends......

Satan has the best riffs of the NWOBHM scene. That album would be perfect if the drummer had used some variations on the beat, he always plays the same f*ckn pattern at all songs.

that lead guitarist is um quite advanced & highly skilled. Sound slike all good mucisians, could use a bit heavier bass mix but musically its good stuff.,
