Well said. I noticed that as well and actually gasped. James was martyred for his faith in Christ, and that IS glorifying to God. If we run with the idea that James died due to lack of prayer, we make our sufferings, as you said, less about God’s Sovereignty and more about our own capabilities. We can do nothing apart from Christ. This also threatens to place an enormous burden on believers, who will be led to believe that tragedy is always the result of a lack of faith. When, in fact, many tragedies are caused BY GOD to STRENGTHEN our faith. I believe she means well, but we ALL should be so careful when speaking in Christ.

I have had to come to realize that it’s an incredible privilege to stand in prayer, agreeing with what we know to be God’s will-from the Word, revealed-but, if someone is not faithful to intercede for me, I am completely covered by the Perfect Intercession of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. ( Romans 8). So sad for people to be unnecessarily burdened. Thanks again. Stand strong in Him.

Hi, many times I hear believers say, JUST PRAY, or all we can do is pray. How weakness those words are in the light of God instituted prayer by the power of God the Holy Spirit. Prayer is not man's idea nor as a ritual. Prayer is mysterious to me bc it actually damages the strategies of our unseen enemy. Every time we pray we are engaged in the supernatual authority and power of the Holy Spirit. This is why ephesians writes prayer is a and effective. Of u are not acquainted with the baptism in the Holy Spirit I recommend Google the Azusa Street Revival. I had no idea how those who went out into ministry focused on repentance, holiness, prayer and supernatual effects of personal praying in tongues. I was baptized yrs ago, fell away from God and now drawn back. I didn't attend a church but discovered ministers that teach the pure Word of God. One problem was hearing so many talk against it. I'm 80 now and God is stretching my understanding of salvation, holiness, the evil seducing the masses of every age. It's like uncovering much more about the realms of God and demons. I am so much more aware of the voice of God, the power rich mercies and being full of grace. I am seeing in the Word just how faithful, powerful God is when I read the accounts of the many times God has protected His chosen ppl. The 6 day war is an example. My eyes are wide open now and this shows up in what I pray.

Gods plan will go forward and there is nobody that can stop it. God has a plan for Israel and what is happening is all prophetic.

The Promised Land is not symbolic of Salvation. It is symbolic of entering into God's promises, of his people receiving their reward. The Exodus from Egypt and the crossing of the Red Sea is the symbol of Salvation. They were all saved, but those who perished through unbelief in the wilderness did not reach the full potential God had on offer for them. Just as many Christians do not progress in their Sanctification and fail to reach their full potential in the Kingdom. Why do you say that no one has repented? Admitting you are a sinner is repentance. Repentance does not mean to stop sinning, although it should lead to that, but rather it is a change of mind and a realisation and acknowledgment that God's ways are right and mans ways are wrong.

Salvation has never been based on A collective but by faith of the individual Israel was God's elect chosen to service not Salvation . Mosses did not enter in because of disobedience Num 20.1.13 kjv You stated that repenting from our sins was the definition of repenting. In the context of the Gospel . ( 24.58 min mark) it is to turn from unbelief . Repenting of sins is a work See jonah 3.10 kjv Turning to christ jesus in faith is not a work.
