Sh.Abdur Razzaq al-Badr narrates a true incident of Satan misleading one who memorised the whole Qurʾān giving guidelines as to how to protect oneself from such plots.
Shaykh Abdur Razaq al-Badr is the son 'of the Muhaddith of Madina' Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al-Abbad and is a scholar in his own right who has authored numerous books and consistently teaches in the Masjid of the Prophet ﷺ.

in the Rasool's (saw) last khutbah, he said that shaytan has abandoned any hope of misleading us in big manners regarding the deen, so we should beware lest he try to mislead us in small ones. this story is a prime example of that subhanAllah.

I can understand that you need the beads to keep count for instance the recommended 100 istighfar,or subhanallah wa bihamdihi, or la ilallaha wakhduku la sharika lahu mulk wa lahu hamd wa huwa ala kulli sha' in qader... But doing 10 of thousands I don't see one can keep count of so many invocations. Whereas making a 100 invocations is easy all you gotta do is a round and that's it...

You don't need the beads to count; fingers and proper focus are enough. Your fingers will intercede for you on the day of judgement before Allah Counting with beads was first used by Christians. Some Hindus also use beads (108) to count their mantras. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sNiFfdmlx8mYf58.html

Dont need beads to count, one can count on fingers upto 100 easily, infact counting with beads is imitating the disbelievers (Christians and hindus).

DO thikr acc. to Quran and Sunnah as this religion is complete not dreams for thats the way of the clergy of ahlul kitab to use dreams to make bida'a, ppl can see good prophecies in dreams but not change the religion.

If taking the religion from dream is right then each one will have their own way of doing worship. Some may come and say "I saw a dream where the obligation of prayer is uplifted from me"! . This religion is completed dear brother. No need to take religion from dreams or anything other than from the Qur'an and sunnah. May Allaah make us among the people of sunnah
