In this clip : Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth, Kristin Davis ( gives you shivers at 4:06 onwards), Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, Mario Cantone, Willie Garson, Evan Handler, Lynn Cohen, Joseph Pupo and Alexandra Fong.
About this clip: This is the most infamous scene in SATC narrative where we come to know of the impenetrable, phallogocentric Mr. Big's weakness (2:17 , 3:13 , 3:43). Not unlike a common man, he has his own share of jitters and lacks close male-companionship even for a momentous once-in-a-lifetime event like marriage. This scene fetches Big, big notoriety inasmuch sympathy. Carrie, all decked up in Vivienne Westwood and an avian head-gear, starts from the Goldenblatt residence at 930 Park Avenue, but cannot fly much high in the most important day for her life - the marrying of Carrie Bradshaw to John James Preston after years of trials, tribulations and Nijinskies. This event is what the preceding entire six seasons were aimed at and gravitated towards. In fact, this scene is the very "singularity" of the SATC "cosmos". We see the white rose-petals fall down all over in the middle of the road, as the traffic witnesses their drama-unfold, like the broken, withered wings of a once-ambitious bird.

Her friends' hearts broke for her in that scene. And she knew they would have her for real. When she just said "get me outta here", and they all sprung into action. Ushering her away from any further embarrassment, while Samantha the PR Queen opted to take the reigns of damage control, along with the help of their party-planning expert gays.

She was finally marrying the man of her dreams, so it’s not unheard of to get lost in it all. Everyone calling her a narcissist by default. He’s been married twice before and really wants it to be something intimate between only them. The whole thing goes off the rails because each is focused on their individual driving factor. And in the end, she realizes her contribution to it all, and they find their way through it.

Carrie's reaction was psychotic & immature. To beat her beloved fiancé like that was abusive and exaggeration. Had that been a man beating his fianceé over the head with a heavy bridal bouquet, it would not have been acceptable by society standards. The talk they have at the end, in the closet, THAT'S the talk they needed to have had in that moment (or whenever she calmed TF down). To blame him for being humiliated yet she's the one standing in the middle of the street making a scene is ridiculous. I always get chills at Charlotte’s/ Kristin Davis’ “NOOOOOO!!!” I also tear up as well because I’ve always been that friend myself - fiercely protective even more than I would be of myself if that makes sense. Friends and family will always protect their loved ones from someone they know will hurt them regardless of the circumstances they are experiencing which is a sign of how strong the bond is. I wish they’d never bothered with the sequel because it was as though they went against everything they’d built the characters up to represent - Charlotte getting worried about her husband cheating on her, Carrie being so spiteful especially to Charlotte
