The problem with this video and others like it is that the builder NEVER explains what he uses to make what he builds possible. For instance, there are different types of magnets. What type is he using to generate enough power to cut the light on? What kind of wire is he using? Will any wire work? The only thing that he has done here is made a lamp. Can I use an electrical outlet and wire that up and plug say a tv in it? So many questions are unanswered.

The generated inductance emf is very low.. according to Faraday low.. so it can't hurt.. But the real thing confusing me is there must be relative movement bet the coil and the flux of magnet..!!!

When the final wire makes contact, the light will go on for a very short period of time. Looking at the final contact while soldering, the video cuts out and restarts instantly telling me trickery is afoot.
