I had one similar to this back in the 1960's; it didn't require power. Gravity and the size of the slot were how they were sorted. Banks used to give them away when a person opened a savings account with them.

I love coin banks that sort the coins for you. I always loved the one that looked like a cash register. Has he ever done a video on one of those? I'd love to see how those work. I would imagine it is the same, but just opening the drawer to a bunch of coins like that is amazing. I'd also love to see how the ones that county the coins work too.

I always wrap my coins in coin wrappers that I get from the bank, does it work with those, or do you still have to take the coins out and wrap them yourself?

Sky Andropoulos , my cousin had one when we were kids. when it gets to the top line you can take the coin sleeve and slide it around the stack pretty easily. The coin tubes used to work good you could put the tube in and the coins would fall into the tube then you just had to fold the end.
