This Camry detail is absolutely everything that you want as a detailer. There was some minor paint correction that needed to be done. The interior needed some attention (especially in the foot wells). The headlights were so foggy that the light was being diffused enough to inhibit visibility. All of these things are addressed in the video and they turn out amazing! This Toyota Camry came out looking better than it has in a long time. Links to the products used are provided below:

I was really glad that it was only resting on top of the clear coat and hadn't really destroyed too much. It turned out amazing. Thanks for watching.

@P4SDetails it looked really great . I think that us seeing the customer seeing it when its done is just as good as the cleaning part. Other people do it and it's nice to see... just my opinion

@@nightmareaccomplice5816 ya ya, it’s not a bad take. I’ve got my first ever customer reaction filmed. Will be posting here in the next couple weeks probably. I’m glad that you said something though because I have always wondered what people think of those. Being this close to the action I will be bias no matter what.

Couldn’t agree more. Hoping to be able to pay for a better music library here in a bit. The free stuff only offers so much, but when you don’t make a lot off YT gotta take what you can. This was one of my earlier videos and I remember hating the music when I published it, but accepting the fact that there just wasn’t a lot out there ha. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch. Time is valuable and I appreciate what you took to spend on my video.

Nice work man, that interior came out nice! Any reason why you didn’t polish closer to the edges on the trunk area? Particularly near the spoiler? The rotary with 3 inch pads comes in handy for those areas. I like to wet sand with some 3000 grit before when there’s random isolated oxidation, makes the one step polishing more effective, the 3000 grit knocks down the oxidation.
@P4SDetails
@P4SDetails Жыл бұрын
So this one was a very low key paint correction and I really wanted to remove the spoiler because I didn’t have a smaller polisher at the time. Customer actually was only concerned about the hood and I kinda went overboard. Totally agree that the unpolished area totally stood out though. Wet sanding is the best.

You need to use 2 step polished this is black uni its mean sticki paint im preety sure in lights its alot of swirls this paint its not easy to finish also you use wrong microfibr
@P4SDetails
@P4SDetails 2 жыл бұрын
Totally agree that a two step would be a really great option. The customer didn’t want to pay for a full paint correction as they just wanted the oxidation cleaned up in the clear coat. I tested a few different pads (Urofiber / microfiber / foam) and went with one that could clear it up, but quickly. If I were doing a ceramic coat, then the customer would be paying for a full paint correction, but this one just wasn’t that. I really appreciate you watching and for the suggestions. Always looking to improve.

They weren’t the haziest, but I wouldn’t defraud my viewers. Isn’t my game. You see it as it happens. Obvi they get a bit more hazy as I sand. But no fraud. I do appreciate you taking the time to watch closely enough to time stamp though. I have a couple other vehicles I did this Cerakote kit on. Honestly, it works fine, but once in forever, I dunno about that.
