Thanks, I feel strongly that Mick Mars deserves so much credit and respect. In a decade full of awesome guitarists, he was a total original, in style and tone. Not only that he takes the stage and delivers with no complaints, considering his health. I put him up there with the greats. Great job brother. Mick forever.

Gets a bad rep because he played in a glam metal band and doesn't do guitar hero stuff. But his riffs are very good and enduring.

Agree 100% Definitely under rated. Being a four piece band he made one guitar sound like many. Heavy as fuck.

I agree he didn't do the super lead stuff and that hurts his status now however it does not mean that could jam cos yes he could and can. I am happy he is still with us.

Mick simply does not get the credit he deserves for some truly monster riffs. Bittersuite is one of my most favourite ever compositions from Mick, a masterpiece! Nice cover pal!!!!

@@DBoyyxD True, he is the bass player lol, but you'd be surprised at how many bass player AND Drummers can play guitar very well too, Dave Grohl for example. But much to my surprise I did learn some time ago that Nikki wrote a very many of their riffs, I'm pretty sure he talks about it a bit on his show "My Favorite Riff W/Slash" (it's on KZfaq). Kickstart My Heart is one that surprised me the most.. When you're the primary song writer guitar skills very much come in handy, as they did for Nikki Sixx....

So simple, yet so complicated! This is a fantastic cover, really fun to watch! Unfortunately Mick suffers from the same fate as Ace Frehley did, he's in a band with two mega egomaniacs and never gets the respect or camera time he deserves. Such an underrated brilliantly original player!!

Is it me or is this song hard as fuck to play? All the way around from the lead to the picking to the finger positions, Mick Mars is fucking God and so is Satsuma. Dude I'm not sure who you are Satsuma, but you got style my man, great job love watchin you play- your so good, I'm not even jealous, your in a league by yourself. Out of all the guitar cover's and tutorials for this song, I'm pretty sure Sat is the only one playing the intro correctly

That riff that starts at around 0:36 seconds is so hard to play at speed with downpicking. For me, that separates you from the rest of us as far as speed picking ability. Also the legato at 1:52 seconds is a bitch. My hats off to you on being able to play this song at speed.
