The Argo Semeru train is a metered executive train owned by PT. KAI and includes the superior train line up owned by PT. KAI. The Argo Semeru metered train passes through Central Java, including Yogyakarta Station and Purwokerto Station. The Argo Semeru train has a twin with the opposite schedule, namely the Bima train. Both the Argo Semeru and Bima trains carry a series of compartment suites.
The Argo Argo Semeru train consists of executive carriages (9 carriages) and compartment suites (1 carriage). The first Argo Semeru train was inaugurated on June 1 2023 and this train has been operating for one year.
