@Elora Beaulieu There are no Cherokee in Canada. Cree and Blackfoot are two different tribes. Alexis refer to themselves as Nakota Sioux.

So beautiful!!! What kind of ribbon is used for men’s regalia and what kind got women’s dresses? I want to keep an eye out for it and send to Pine Ridge.
@veronicacoker-nunn57363 жыл бұрын
Hi Fern🙋🏽♀️ I'm Ojibwe from The Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. We use any kind of ribbon in making our Regalia. It doesn't have to be a specific kind. Any color you wish, thick or thin in width. I get mine from WalMart (Lol 😆) Or any local Fabric Store. Have a great day
@fernwebb55683 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I had recently sent worthy fabric and a bit of ribbon and the fire at the First People Now center was worst in the sewing area. I will see what I can do to replace it. Thanks again for allowing me to share in Pow Wows via video. All Natives! Thank you!
