8 06 the run down buildings need bought by council and raised to ground Perhaps some new housing 16 flats in there , CCTV entry system mixed use works well in town centres it helps keep crime down as people tend to report anything going on is the logic. The larger job centre building could be turned into decent flats also. Perhaps Council could partner kickstart with P2P property lenders to fund the project.

The taggers probably noticed all the surveillance cameras underneath there.

My goodness it’s banging and busy like the young farmers night, all those clubs and bars for a Saturday night. Lots of beer monsters around. Yes that Talbot Rd left turn is going to catch a few out eventually. The North Station foot tunnel looks good now but how long will it last before graffiti and beer monsters taking refuge. Another excellent video Stephen. I remember Talbot Road Bus Station well. The floor was always running with water, oil and diesel - even on dry days. I remember the lead councillor describing the bus station, with its walkways that were also bus ways, as being "so dangerous that it is actually safe" implying that people had to hae their wits about them to navigate it safely. Keep up the good work sir.

Thanks for the video Stephen, love the cap with "Walk on the wild side" on the side. Wouldn't walk through North train centre tunnel at night it has the potential of being very risky. Tower looks beautiful lit in those colours adore Blackpool tower and it's ever changing colours. The sea roaring is such a relaxing sound to hear wouldn't like to be out on it though, totally different matter. Sorry to hear about Papas hope no one was injured. As a Glaswegian I remember the end of summer evacuation of Glasgow when everyone and their dug went to Blackpool for the September weekend. I don't think it happens these days, though. How life has changed.

Can't afford to get to Blackpool by train. Cheapest return fare from Marple to Blackpool is £28.80 each. Have a motability car. 1 gallon of petrol each way £13 in total and that's for 4 people

23 million tram track to the front... Money would of been better spent demolishing or renovating all the derelict buildings in Blackpool.

Never expected to hear my favourite Westlife song in one of your videos haha! Been to Turtle Bay here in Leeds a few times (yes it's a chain for anyone who didn't know), it's always busy no matter when you go, but it's 2 for 1 cocktails at happy hour (coco colada is usually my tipple of choice!) and the food is really nice IMO (I go for the Mo'Bay chicken and the staff are always impressed by my choice as it's apparently underrated!). Great video as always Stephen 😀

What was it like around the Central Library in 1911 I would image good roses as there were still a few horses around, I think the council needs to go around with the weed killer, No problem with beer monsters in those day, people had a purposes in life and didn't follow the easy high club, Dog friendly pubs takes me back to my youth, after 8 pints everyone in the world was beautiful,

Greggs will do really well there the cafes and shops at the train stations are expensive

The new tram station looks fabulous. Plenty of options for tourists to travel in and around Blackpool. Really enjoy your Friday/Saturday night videos of blackpool. Can't be there so the next best thing is watching your videos with a beer and crisps.

The Job Centre site was Christ Church Blackpool. I went there in November 1976 as organist and choirmaster at the tender age of 18. The catch is a brilliant Takeaway I usually have cheeseburger and chips , delicious. Great to see the North Tram terminus. Easy to get back to my hotel now just take the tram! Great video Stephen

I sold my four hotels 19 years ago, obviously a very wise decision because it was busier on a Friday night in February 2005 than it is now on a Saturday night in June.

The good weather certainly brings people out. Nice to see them enjoying themselves.

Maybe there were more beer monsters in 1911. Where you are by the library, I would hate it,we lived next door to a rowdy pub for 25 years and it’s damaged my mind about loud noise. Now the roar of the sea is soothingly natural.

I don't care what people say about Blackpool they just need to visit it and then make a judgement about how bad their own town really is!
