This is the line dance they do in the movie "Saturday Night Fever" to the song "Night Fever" - don't forget to watch in HD. It is sometimes called "The Brooklyn Shuffle". We do this in class at NEVER STOP DANCING, and people often ask me to go over the steps, so this video breaks it all down. When I teach this in class I have my back to the class, and I move to all four sides of the room as the class move around, so that they can always follow me.
Thank you to the gorgeous Savanna who helped me show you the steps, and my amazing morning class regulars who appear in snippets at the beginning and end. We were also joined by a couple of ladies from the Ballroom Dance class that follows our class ... they did really well because they had never done it before :).

Just like they taught us at Hardy's Pub in Greensburg, PA after Fever came out. Took that dance lesson down to 2002 in White Oak, our disco, and made sure we got that timeless line dance done right. We called it the Bus Stop. Doesn't matter. Playing Night Fever was too cool back then.

Running on the treadmill it's just not the same. Now I can just stay home and watch videos to do my exercises!!! Are you on this video?

@@NeverStopDancing Hi Virginia, I'm in the US. The State I'm in is currently not in lockdown. Gyms are open but all classes are cancelled. It's pretty sad. I'm fine using treadmill and other exercise equipments, but I missed the classes. Thank you for this beautiful video...you all looks so beautiful and handsome!!! You are very lucky being in New Zealand, for not having any covid issues...we are not that lucky here. Many people that I know, and close friends got sick and I lost two best friends. So, thanks for your videos...CHEERS!!!❤❤

Good take on this classic disco dance, we learnt it almost 20 years ago and still do it, your walk through at the beginning was using the wrong arm but you had it sorted when you danced it to the music, really good effort 👍

Grew up with bee gees and loved disco even though it was seen as not cool in my era, well I missed out on learning lots of fun, thanks for your instruction I am going do it at 60 disco lives thanks sweetheart, Steve
