I commented this in a post on here, but I looked at it like Stingray was Rey Mysterio Jr or Mil Mascaras and Scorpion was Lazer Tron AKA Hector Guerrero

This was the Team I'd use in the Tag-Team matches. Scorpion and Stingray and visa versa

I believe its been said that El Stingray was inspired by a known Mexican Luchadore Legend, just can't remember who

Indeed, the stingray is based on a Mexican wrestler who was also from Acapulo named Lizmark. Although the colors also remind me of another legend of Mexican wrestling known as blue demon, but its origin is completely linked to lizmark

Good question. I remember Stingray had a different attire. I believe it almost matches the attire Scorpion 🦂 is wearing in the video
