Wow!!! They were just chillin there for a few seconds. Messi was a little defensive and intimidated there bur Gerda remained calm, in control, and respectful. No big deal for her and Messi learned that it wasn't a big deal either. See Messi, Gerda won't vaporize you, all is good! Big step for the cats today!

Месси просто офигел судя по выражению лица. Он так грозно прошипел а Герда спокойно мимо прошла. Он даже за ней пошёл с изумлённым видом. А Герда как не в чем не бывало спокойно пошла гулять. Герда - самая обаятельная и очаровательная гепардесса.

Messi said to Gerda "get away from my pool area" 🤣! LOL Gerda's favorite pass time is relaxing on the grass and she sure knows how to find where the shade is at. In the shade, it's 15 degrees cooler. Good girl. I think Gerda felt bad, that Messi wasn't very friendly to her today.😥 Cheetahs are always warm bc they have a 2nd layer of fur. She's loving that pretty blue sky and the nice cool summer breeze and the sound of the chirping birds and all the space she has. 💓🏖 The garden looks so pretty with the bench there. The bubble is something she doesn't care for but everything is by trial and error when your raise these breeds and try to find out their likes and dislikes. Sometimes the outcome is positive and sometimes it's negative but it's ok when you are trying to feel the animals out.

I wonder why she was afraid of the bubbles. Bubbles are so cool at least to me as a human. Gerda wasn't afraid of Messi's pose hissing. He was just showing off, almost like he said hello in hissing. He was later hoped he can surprise her from behind but didn't do it. The behavior of both is wonderful there is a great progress.

But if she can be near him without fighting or starting a chase, then I consider that a progress in the relationship of these two predators. Gerda probably view Messi as one of her pack. As Cheetahs like Lions are social animals. Messi on the other hand, has a combination of fear and curiosity towards Gerda. He is taking more of a step back approach. Make sense as Cougars are solitary animals. In exception when he wants to play with her.
