It’s time for another Saturday Sewcial! Today, my Moda friends and I are talking all about Moda Blockheads! I bet you are beside yourself! First, you become a designer for a huge well-known company and then you are asked to join the collab with some big names in the business. I'm sure you have to pinch yourself to be sure it is real. I love your fabric line....gorgeous muted colors.

I love all three layouts. Really, I wouldn’t be able to choose for you. As for me I would start with the traditional first and work up. I’ll be looking for your fabric line. Love the colors you chose. Thank you for the layout gifts and sharing your completed block. Great job,

Voting for star dance! But, I think I will download Diamond dance. I made some load block head blocks in either year 1 or 2 and I think I will pick up making more 6” blocks and actually put them together and make a quilt. This excites me!!!!!

Beautiful fabric line… I don’t feel like I met YOU… it was like a visit with “Thing” from the Munsters… I have to admit I know nothing about making KZfaq videos maybe it was about the camera equipment that you have 🤷🏻‍♀️ …. I love your Flower Girl fabric, maybe it’s the soft colors?, anyway…I have it on pre-order!! The setting is between 2, Star Dance & Diamond Twist. Star Dance (I love stars) and the Diamond Twist is a setting that’s different.

Your enthusiasm makes me want to start right now!! I love how you explained why you chose the colors for your first block following the gray tones in the pattern and that you might not do that in the future. That is the beauty of so many amazing designers making blocks and you “making each your own “. I would love to make this particular block as a quilt. Is there anywhere i can find the fabric list to know just how much to buy for this entire quilt? Or am I missing something? Thanks for your help!

This is the Moda blockheads QAL. There is not instructions to turn this block into a quilt. My best recommendation is to look at the block pattern and them calculate all the blocks you need and then you can figure out all the pieces you need and all the fabric requirements you need
