Ferguson seemed to have suffered a lot of injustice which seems to have driven him insane and delusional. It seems that he actually could not tell the difference between reality and illusion.

Nutty and aggrieved, he is coddled by everyone in the trial. He posted on social media about his desire to kill elderly White people. Prosecutors saw all of the posts and they cover it up.

Well they’re not really making fun of the incident, they’re making fun of the trial and what a joke it was. The fact that the judge would declare a clearly insane man fit to stand trial, let alone defend defend himself, is absurd, and ripe for parody. Good on SNL for making that point, and handling the subject matter relatively tastefully in my opinion.

@KingChrisM There are mindless atrocities that have been committed on grand scales throughout history (Atilla the Hun, Genghis Khan, etc.) but I’m sure if SNL joked about any of those you would give zero shits.

@KingChrisM Frankly I don’t really give a shit as long as it’s funny and it’s not glamorizing the event or anything, and particularly if the parody revolved around a trial related to one of the perpetrators of 9/11, rather than the act itself, kind of like they did in the Colin Ferguson sketch. You seem like either one of those NY people who think the entire world revolves around you and/or your city, or one of those people who lives solely to find reasons to be outraged and offended all the time...
