No one caught that in one of the opening scenes of the original movie, someone indeed killed themselves.. I think it was the producer’s son or maybe the janitor or some shit, but it actually happened. They hinted at it in the skit and in reviewing the comments, NO ONE HAS FUCKING NOTICED.. I’m surely not the biggest fan of the movie, but come on!!

@TokitoTaishiro
@TokitoTaishiro 4 жыл бұрын
@~Vashti7~ It is a rumor, though--the shadow is from a bird in the background flapping it's wings. They put birds in the background to make the scene feel more like a forest.
@TheStockwell
@TheStockwell 4 жыл бұрын
@~Vashti7~ Right, because no-one at MGM would notice something like a suicide taking place during filming, or they'd find a corpse hanging from a tree and not bother to do a re-shoot, and nobody involved in the editing of the film would see it and no-one watching the film in theaters or on television broadcasts would notice it for at least half a century - until the internet was invented. Yes, there's no disproved urban myth going on here.

4:19 If you don't understand the reference here, it's related to an old rumor that in the scene she's describing, supposedly one of the munchkin actor's hung themselves on set, and it was caught on film. There's no basis in fact for this, and the most likely theory is that a stage hand was just caught behind the set when filming began and just got caught in the scene when they shouldn't have been. Alternatively it was simply some props and backgrounds moving around when they shouldn't, but regardless, nobody died in the scene in question.
