My favorite will still be Chris Farely yelling "kill whitey" and everyone in the audience is uncomfortably dead silence and the band next to him just looks worried ( Black Sheep). If such a line was uttered as a joke like that in a movie today you could bet people would make it into a political argument rather then just enjoying it for being a short joke. * also me. I'd recently watched this episode but came back to rewatch it, thinking I surely must have missed something exceptional to warrant an apology - over a comedy sketch from an episode so many years ago - and yeah, don't see it.

I was totally unaware of Dana Carvey making any apologies, but apparently that caused this old forgotten skit to go semi-viral and spontaneously appear in my feed, so now, ironically, I am seeing this skit for the first time.
