If the winner of a presidential ticket is the winner then they would be the gold medal winner. Their running mate and winner for vice president would be the silver medal finalist. That would make the losers on the other ticket (the ticket with the second most electoral college votes in some cases the Green Party and Reform also offer candidates) bronze and not even on the podium.

Wrong theme though. It was was the theme of All Creatures Great and Small (80s British series about a veterinarian in 30s and 40s Yorkshire). But I have to say, that in a way it's appropriate on "The Sarah Palin Network show" as (if I remember correctly) "All Creatures Great and Small" is either from the Bible or a religious poem.
