I can't tell if Fred Armisen's face is him trying not to laugh or just a character face to match the talk show's energy. Either way it's part of a magnificent tapestry. Every part of these sketches seem integral to the role.

Plus, you never know what random character you will see in every episode of What Up With That, including Grinchina and a short, dancing santa. All of that, in my opinion, makes this scene so popular.
