I think Chance was taking one for the team. 😂 Rob and Tim are hilarious . Then theirs Austin breaking out a fishing pole anytime he's near a puddle. HomeFree is the ultimate greatest group that ever made music in my opinion. Yes I have subscribed to you since you started as you are the best reactor on KZfaq. If I was financially able to give it would be you and HomeFree , but thank you from all of us who wish we could help. I will always give you a thumps up on videos and recommend you to others I know.. You both keep me happy and smiling. 🦋🎵💕🦋

Bigger isn't always better is my takeaway from your Saucey talk. It took me 50 years. But I finally retired from 34 years of being a server. I now own my own company and do business the way I wish everyone I came across had. Home Free was a major inspiration for that. They want to be successful but they want the success with their fans. They love to give us what we want as fans and we love everything they choose to do. They and you are quite an inspiration. I will be a follower of both of you for life.

I've seen some interesting comments from Tim and Austin in different interviews about Patreon and how important it's been to them. It seems like the best thing they did was to ditch the Sony contract after the Sing Off and go independent. They have really invested in their relationship with their supporters and it has paid off. And of course it helps that they are who they are - just genuinely likeable talented people. Keep on reacting to Home Fry and I'll keep on following 😊

I am so glad for HF. They slogged through hard times and managed to get released from their record contract. Now they control when, where, what, why and how much. I didn't know what I was missing until I watched my first HF video. They changed my life with great music and videos, but also caused me to discover reactors. I can only subscribe and like, but I have been here for your first HF reaction and I thank you for reacting to them regularly. Crossing my fingers for you.

Buying out their own contract was a great move for HF. I just don't understand why Sony doesn't know what to do with a capalla, like you see in PTX and after them HF. They knew they were getting a capella before the Sing Off, it's not like it was s surprise to them

Regarding Patreon numbers... Home Fries get their money's worth. Home Free and VoicePlay generally do 24 videos a year. Peter Hollens, also independent, aims for 30 plus a year. Sony controls PTX and allows only 10 to 12 videos a year. Btw, I believe Home Free has another new video coming out this week.

Another fun original song by the guys. It would be fun to hang out with them & their friends. Just stay out of Rob's way with the bow & arrow. Ha ha. I really like seeing some of their older songs. Maybe you could react to "What We Ain't Got". It really showcases Tim & Austin. It is one of my favorites. That was so cool to hear how the Home Fries are supporting our guys so much more compared with PTX. They deserve it as they are such down to earth humble guys.

The guys are just so natural and inviting that I can't help but be a loyal fan. That's why Home Free is so successful with their fanbase. They really make sure that we are entertained and interactive. Keep doing exactly what you're doing! You're also a natural at what you're doing here. I love this one. Makes me think of family get togethers and how much fun they are. Just hanging out and laughing and having a good time. And with Home Free's patreon, I think it's that comfortable feel. They are like guys we would hang out with on any given day. You feel like you know them though you've never met. There is a quote I found from Amelia Earhart. "What do dreams know of boundaries?" No reason to limit dreams when the dreams don't limit you.

This could be my father's side of the family. My grandpa owned "the camp" up i New Hampshire. It was a 2 bedroom summer cottage and 20 people there kids and all LOL . It was on a lake and there was fishing, tubing, water skiing, food and drinking. Tents were involved and lots of fun. Summer was the only time we got to see my cousins from FLA. Thx for the memories. Great video. Lots of fun Thx Nick 😎 I grew up in the 60's as a child watching Perry Mason. I was obsessed. I was going to be a Defense Attorney. In 9th grade, Freshman in High School, 13yo My female guidance counselor told me, I could never be a lawyer I wasn't smart enough. I was in the top level humanities classes with an A, but she destroyed my dream. I then got involved in music and began excelling in that, but it wasn't good enough for my parents, So I became a receptionist for Coca-Cola. At 29 newly divorced with 3 young kids I went back to college got my RN and became a nurse with a 4.0. So much for not being smart enough😎

With the way the current world is, job losses, isolations, etc..., Home Free's music is just very positive, touching and funny! Home Free is so funny not only in their videos but also in their concerts, with their fans. They relate to their fans/audiences. I can see why their Patreon is where it is.

I just re-watched the first video I found of you on or shortly after Nov. 12, 2021 reacting to what was also my first Home Free video about 4 years earlier, "Man of Constant Sorrow", then it went to "Ring of Fire" & you let it continue because you were in awe of HF, as we all are! I didn't leave a comment but all the regular "Home Fries" that are still here today did! I didn't only subscribe because of Home Free's incredible talent that I'd loved for years. I also subscribed because you were so crazy! I can't believe it was less than 5 months ago! I feel like I've "known you" for years! Saucey, I liked your reasoning with the Patreon numbers. May I suggest one change to your Patreon though. Home Free stays true to themselves. You need to stay true to you as well. I think it is unwise to give your Patreon members a guaranteed request each month especially at your current tier. It will be impossible to keep up with the requests and this may change your channel in ways that may not reflect your interests. Perhaps as a bonus you could add one or two exclusive videos for Patreon a week voted on by the Patreon members. You need to react to the videos that give you joy. That is why we are here. If you only react to requests, it won't be the Sauceydad channel any more.

Home Free’s fans basically kept the band employed during the pandemic through Patreon. That money goes for music videos so it made sense that the Home Free team needed to find a way to continue recording and putting out videos from separate locations while all the pandemic lockdowns and restrictions were in place since they couldn’t tour.

The respect and appreciation that Home Free shows their fans is one of the main reasons so many of us Home Fries are more than happy to support them to the best of our ability. I'm a patron and would give them more if I had it. We all know how hard they work to give us the best of themselves and we appreciate it. They stick to their ethical beliefs and that's rare in the entertainment arena. These guys are so important to so many people. After my husband passed away, I lived for 6 years in white noise. Going through the motions of living but not really invested. I discovered Home Frees' music and subsequently them as people and was pulled back into participating in the world and enjoying my life. How they approach life inspired me. Best of luck to you and your aspirations! You speak from your heart and that's great.

(For example) my husband has been a concrete finisherfor literally 40 years. His back, hands, and especially his knees are so messed up. It's a terribly hard, labor intensive job. Yet hes still doing it now at 59 years old. Hes always loved concrete work( crazy I know) but it's really taken a toll. Hes extremely talented as an artist( painting, drawing, and carving) but as hard as I tried to encourage him, he's never taken the chance. So I completely understand what you're talking about and admire you taking a chance now to go after what you want. I just know you're going to be a huge success and the best days are ahead! I'm here for it! God Bless!💗

Kristi, Please read this to your hubby. It might give him the perspective he needs to go for what makes him happy TODAY...not "someday". *sighs* My sweet hubby had worked his entire life from the age of 16. He was getting tired & looking very much forward to the retirement he deserved. He was one of those people who never got sick, never been in the hospital, etc. Strong as an ox. Definitely not a type A personality at all; easy going, loved to laugh. He spent most of his off-work time taking care of me (I'm disabled) and researching online for pull-along campers. He had everything planned out...he'd retire at 62 & we'd take off along old Route 66, stopping whenever we wanted, staying as long as we wanted. No schedules. It would've been a dream come true for both of us. He was an avid photographer. I can only imagine the 10 blu-billion pics we'd have had. All of those memories that'll never be made. God had other plans, I guess. 3 months after his 60th birthday, my beautiful, strong, seemingly healthy hubby said he had indigestion after supper. He was gone 30 minutes later. No goodbyes. Nothing. NEVER put things off for another day. We aren't guaranteed another day. We only get one go around. Make it count. Have you ever seen a gravestone that said "I wish I had worked more."? Family. Friends. Love. Shared memories. That's it. It's all that really matters. ❤ I pray that you & your hubby spend many more happy tears together & that he's able to rest & enjoy his pastimes.

I’m so jealous!! I would love to have a backyard bash! Austin is from not too far from where I live. My husband was a Tifton, Ga. Sheriff’s Deputy back in the day, before joining the Army. Austin’s aunt and uncle have a beautiful place. I love that they use family in their videos. Congratulations on all of your successes.

When Home Free started their Patreon campaign they had already won the Sing-Off and they struck a deal with Sony that all income coming through Patreon would go exclusively to their music videos. We support them because they give us content that inspire us to dream and they start true to themselves. I know where you are at, and the world is currently in this shift where more and more people are stepping out of that smallness society puts most of us in when we're young. I'm here because you are wise, you are authentic, you are caring, you are encouraging. Home Free is such a big part of my inspiration for constantly moving myself forward and out of that place of being small and not worthy of living my dreams. Spread your wings, the world needs more people like you. Be the inspiration. 🥰🙏💃 I'm excited to follow your journey.

You're absolutely right about following your dreams. Way back in 1960 something, my mom worked for a psychologist...he said the majority of his patients are unhappy with the job they were "expected" to do and they can't disappoint their parents, etc. Follow your dreams...two reactors I watch have recently quit their day jobs and are doing this full time. Go for it! I'm with you.

What a great reaction! I’ve seen this one a bunch of times, but it’s been awhile. I laughed again at the video, but you’re reaction was so epic that I laughed even harder than usual! I had tears in my eyes. Lol Love your channel, Saucey! I think Tim and Austin will be thrilled to get those t-shirts, and proudly wear them, too! I’m so glad your channel is going strong, and I know it will continue to grow because you’re a genuinely nice guy and you are a great entertainer, as well! Isn’t it amazing how many Patrons Home Free has? I’m not surprised, though! They’re great guys and have a great appeal, and they’re extremely talented!

I know you recorded this over a year ago, and I am sure your channel has grown exponentially since. I just ran across your reactions recently because of Home Free. I am an official newly-minted Home Fry lol. As for chasing your dreams, keep plugging away and eventually your hard work will pay off, I hope in ways you couldn’t even imagine! I’m an old lady now, almost 65. I gave up on my dream of raising horses and establishing a reputable breeding farm due to marriage, family obligations, and financial constraints. But I have had a wonderful life, great sons, now precious grandchildren! I do not regret my life although of course there are things I would go back in time and do differently if I could. Your desire to do right by your wife and children is admirable and certainly a noble pursuit! Keep going, Saucey Dad, I love your outlook, enthusiasm and sense of humor! I’m very sure your family is proud of what you are doing! Sending blessings from the wilds of western Pennsylvania!😊

I completely agree with you on the content creation. Your kids are only little for a very little while. So time with them is of utmost importance. And yes, you’re a wonderful person and you put your heart into what you do. We appreciate it so much and we’re here for it. The Saucey Fam loves you and can’t wait to see this channel as well as your Patreon get huge!

Tim has always said that they only make money from touring, and now a bit from Foust and Friends. No-one can make money from streaming, whether YT or Spotify (that's if you can get Spotify to recognise your existence), and the videos just make the audiences for the live shows. HF are just doing the only thing they can to support their mortgages and families. I'm not sure it's necessarily the way they would choose to live if there were any other way. And HF is not just the guys but the whole crew, transport, merch, choreo, lighting, production, tech support, admin ... They don't have the option to stop without taking away the jobs of a lot of others. So I'm not sure they are the free agents you describe them as. Although I'm a patron, I'm not happy with the Patreon model for funding a venture, simply because it's not fair. You can see comments from people on low incomes, saying that they can't afford to become patrons (particularly since the tiers went up) so they miss out on things they would love to see. But I suppose that's the American Way. You also have to be nice to your patrons no matter what, simply because they've got the cash you want. For example, if you join Austin's Superfans at the top level, for some vast sum of money you can have dinner at his house, he'll sing etc. But imagine if the people paying are a royal pain in the butt. Austin and Amberly have to put up with some jerk for hours on end, gritting their teeth, because he has paid them to. Throwing him out is just not an option. I'm not sure Austin embarked on a career as a singer to be under that sort of compulsion.

love you little monolog at the end! I agree that you need to live life to the fullest. I think that is a amazing goal to set for yourself. I think maybe you should look into video editing. this is a skill that feels very simple to pick up but will made a good amount of money just doing basic stuff for fellow reactors.

Oooohh, I like the look of your merchandise. I have my eye on 2 tees but am holding back until after I raid the merch table at the HF concert in 2.5 weeks. Then I'll be wearing one of your shirts to their gig in July. I love your reactions! You're a lot of fun. (And you don't pronounce 2cellos as two cell-oes and identify their instruments as violins. Yes, I saw a reactor I went to right after watching your vid do that, and I came back to your page within 3.5 seconds. Ugh.)
