one thing I learned is that no matter who I like doesn't make any difference on fight night. It's whoever comes to win that night that wants it more. I like both fighters, maybe Lara a bit more because his fights are entertaining to me, Canelo is very good, but I'm just not as entertained by a Canelo fight.

Canelo has been looking more and more lean at the weigh ins for his last few fights, but on fight night still coming in thicker than his opponent. Perhaps canelo has been focusing more on speed and agility for this fight, bc he is obviously the smaller framed fighter and will need to utilize his speed getting inside on lara. His power will not be affected he will always have that and the better his stamina is the longer he will posses that power in the fight. However on the other hand he might looked so drained bc he had to shed so much weight since he has been talking about moving up, hopefully he is ready for all 12 rounds.

Lara maybe 154 without chain and Canelo looked sick. I can't see him fighting at 154 for the rest of his career (that's about 10+ years).

Okay Canelo won. Im a canelo fan but I personally would have given it a draw. That 117-111 to canelo is some crap thou. the 115-113 scores are no shockers though, it was a very close match. I think it could have gone either way or a draw. That 117-111 is a hunk of turd.

It’s a shame that after the mayweather fight canelo never made 154 lbs yet again was to scare to move to 160 lbs And know that the champs at a higher weight are chumps he moves up no problem. SHAME !!!!!

For those chearing on lara let me tell you this. If lara is so good like people say hopefully Lara don't run, and don't lock canelos arms. He has to demontrate us the boxing fans that he can trade punches and not just wait for canelo to come in and counter him. Sorry but I don't like boring fighters and Lara is one of them. Canelo is a more exiting fighter that brings action to the ring.

Lara won the fight! How does Martinez judge score 117-111? impossible. Yes Lara ran, but he score the most points. Im a Canelo fan, but not anymore, he doesn't deserve some of the wins he has. Its all a big business to make him look good.

The crowd was annoying as fuck and the match was not what I expected it to be. Also, there goes another bet ...I LOST!!!!! I'll tell you exactly why I'm piseed and not that you'd give a fuck but neither do I so read on .. Lara, with all the elusiveness, technique he possesses, I expected him to use; however, also expected him to fight the fight like he fought Paul Williams. But he didn't and I'll confess that I was pretty angry with his performance overall. It was a close fight but it shouldn't come to a surprise he let the match slip through his finger ..SHIT!!!! Another day, another boxing match and another bet ....I LOST!!! Good job Alvarez, move on.
