As part of Gujarat Chunaav Yatra, Saurabh Dwivedi and team interacted with the people of Surat about what they think of the current elections. In Gujarat, there is a policy of prohibition on the sale and consumption of alcohol. The people of Surat shed light on how effective this ban is. There is a debate that happens in this interview in which one group says there should be no prohibition and the other group says the current policy is good. In this lively interaction, they also share insights on the current state of affairs in Gujarat. Watch this video to know what the voters are thinking this election

Bombay prohibition act was imposed on both Gujarat and Maharashtra but Maharashtra lifted their prohibition 60 years ago today In women safety Gujarat Gujarat ranks number 16 with only 6 crore population but Maharashtra ranks number 9 with more than 12 crore population. Where is the benefit of this alcohol prohibition?

यहा विदेश जाने का बहुत क्रेज है। यहां प्रॉपर्टी होती है अच्छा खासा पैसा कमा भी लेते है फिर भी विदेश में रिश्तेदार होने की वजह से वहा जाना और सैटल होना आसान होने की वजह से वहा चले जाते है।

Namrata, if you visit any city in India, the top level businesses will be handled by Gujarati and Marwadi ( Rajasthani). They leave Gujarat not because there are any issues back home or no opportunity but if they can rule the business in other geography than why not!! And whenever they go, they focus on business.nothkng else. For us who live outside Gujarat, business is everything. We are least bothered about local politics, local time wasting stuff etc etc. To understand Gujarat and Gujarati make some friends who are Gujarati.

Love from surat Hope the entire team experienced , why Surat is so different,,,, from Hospitality of Surtilala Coincident but was discusing the liquor ban topic just before few min & got this episode Liquor is a part of Surat's culture if you study few of the original Surat's cast and in a very mannered way still it is,,,, But liquor ban is providing a balance to our society too ( kind of darr is also necessary and it is there) So I believe it is a perfect social balance of availability and ban.

Gujarat me sabhi middle class family and lower class family bhi apne bachcho ko private me mehnge fees deke padhate he kyoki 30 saal pehle jab vo government school me padhate the tab teachers pura din bethe rehte the ya fir koi or kaam karvate the to aaj government school me bohat improvement aa gay he vo logo ko pata hi nhi he even gaav ke bachche bhi city me private me padhate he har roj private school busses gaav me jati he Ye sabse bada issue he but koi parents is par dhyan nhi dete or nhi government school ke teachers aware karne ki kosis karte he
