Thing is, he wasn't even lying. He told her many times that he wasn't the hero she was seeking. She just wasn't listening. Lol.

I loved it when he said 'I AM THE LORD OF THE RINGS' and started throwing rings all over the place

They really did make Sauron more likable than Galadriel, that's an achievement!

Even then. He didn't even need to tell her the truth. He could have denied it. But this guy just keeps telling the truth. This sauron isn't even deceptive. He's one of the most honest characters in the show. Unironically. She literally brought Sauron out of retirement

Her level of denial when he tells her who he really is reminds me of my son the day I came clean about Santa Claus.

The actor for Sauron is pretty good, the way his eyes kind of go blank / get this “faraway stare” look when he stops pretending to be human, you can almost get the notion that he’s a spiritual being speaking through a fana just from his facial change.

i really like how his eyes turn so detached and dispassionate, with a hint of a distant amusement and derision

I do like this scene though the way Sauron tells her the truth he hasn’t been manipulating her everything she did she did in her own agency.

We all knew this reveal was coming, but I love how Galadriel tries to put it on him as if it was his idea to come to middle earth when all along was her trying to manipulate everybody else to come to middle earth. Even after the reveal you’re still rooting for Sauron.

Omg, when that happened I was like "NO, NO" I was so blown away. The writing, the diversity everything just came to that one point, and created a symphony unmatched by the Valar when they created this world. I, I think even Tolkien himself would have jump up and shouted with joy and praised the dei gods for such a masterpiece.

I love the part when Sauron says "IT'S MORBIN TIME!" It moved me to tears

The actors in this show are Serving a HUGE PURPOSE to educate those willing to recieve the light and absorb the moral of the story, the greater purpose, and the message deep within! Whoever refuses the light and shows that portray good and evil have no understanding or knowledge because they are blind to the meaning of it The morals in this story are BEAUTIFUL, THE HATERS ARE PEOPLE WHO GAVE THEIR SOUL SOMEWHERE IN LIFE TO THE DARKNESS AND WHEN THEY SEE LIGHT THEY ARE OPPOSED TO ANYTHING GOOD

Technically, he is actually a brilliant liar. And the writers capture that… just, maybe not intentionally There’s a saying that I learned a long time ago. “Life is a wheel. You start somewhere that’s not great, you go around to somewhere that’s different, and then you grow and end up in the same place you were at the beginning, but it’s deeper.” An example would be: “You trust everyone as a kid. Someone hurts you, so you decide to trust no one. Then, you grow up more, and you realize that it’s good to trust some people.” Youre in the same spot, but it’s more clear and deep than it was when you were there before. This is what I feel about this portrayal of Sauron. It’s weak, it’s got weak dialogue and writing, etc… but, a fully fleshed out and dangerous Sauron would be doing the same things that he’s doing, just… better. What do I mean by this? He’s a brilliant liar, because he never told Galadriel any lies. That’s what this scene is indicating. He told her the truth, in a way that she wouldn’t look at what he wasn’t telling her. That’s VERY clever, and manipulative But that’s not what this character is doing. Even if the method of how he lied is exactly what a brilliant liar Sauron would do, he’s not doing it because he’s being written as a brilliant liar. He hasn’t gone around the wheel to end up where he is yet So, you Kay dislike the writing, for very valid reasons, but they are on the right track

Acting here is actually brilliant, the pure pleasure from deception and the fear in morfyyds face

Best moment of the show was when, in the end, he said to Galadriel : "Bee dee, baddy bee doo, I am Sauron and I easily deceived you" and then fucked off satisfied.

I loved when Sauron killed Voldemort after getting all the infinity stones.
