Yay Magda! G1 i was so scared he would just play the gilded Drake t2! I think i would normally go for tutor god pharaohs + tangelwire, before comboing, but maybe I’m playing too scared. Always a fine line between stax and going for it!❤

Super clean Magda game G#1. For G#2, thoughts on Lightning Bolt-ing the Tymna Sakashima player in resp to the Dockside etb so they make 6 treasures less off the etb, instead of trying to interact with the Barrin combo? Obviously, you didn't know about Barrin, so I get that but they had tapped out so they wouldn't have been able to go for a win attempt perhaps with fewer treasures? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Killing value engeins today isen't that good anymore. I should actually make a video about this. It is a good topic. But stopping value engiens arent good at the moment. Win attempts comes so fast before the value engens starts doing things currently more or less.

@@cedhtvgameplay3974 I agree with killing engines don't do much, hence why I was wondering your thoughts on taking out a player at 2 life with a Lightning Bolt, in resp to Dockside so it makes less than 10 treasures.

I came to the comments section for this exact reason. Why not kill the player at 2 before dockside ETBs?

6:18 I know it was probably a mistake, but am I missing something? That post-combat main phase should have been gain 2, pay 1, draw 1 because only Tymna dealt combat damage

Sakashima enters as copy of Tymna so he is paying the ability twice

First! Also, Yay Magda representation! Mons, you make me a bit sad keeping a hand with 2 tutor targets! I would have liked to see the 6! Also I personally don't search out stax pieces during the combo turn since if they could interact they should have already. Only angel's grace and krosin grip can effect the turn!

thoughts on lightning bolting the tymna player after necropotence? I understand there is waiting until he is actually winning since he eventually got stopped but in the process he feeds two enemy mystic remoras and later feeds the dockside ETB as well. My thought process is killing him after necropotence would've prevented the stacked hands that allowed both following players to draw into their winning lines but could see how keeping him around for blue interaction could've also been valuable against two mystic remoras been fed at the same time. Would love to hear others thoughts on why or why not to do that play!

I think I will try and answer this with a video. I got a similar quastion before. In short. Killing value engiens arent that good anymore kinda. Or it is really risky. Our games arent that long. Turn based value engeins don't deliver that much value any more kinda. Tymna will mostly draw 1 card a turn or 2 cards a turn. But in a format where we only have 2-4 turns. She isen't that impactful.

@@cedhtvgameplay3974 yeah I saw that comment but was more wondering about killing the player before they received the necropotence cards in this situation since overall him going for a win feeds both mystic remoras on board leading to two win attempts. I understand killing the value engine isn’t as good but allowing two to be fed as he tries to win is where I see bolting to kill that player being a viable option but could very well be wrong and is what I’m asking sorry for any confusion!

Could be wrong but why didn’t the bottom right player swan song the clock of omens when you played it from your hand I swear he had enough mana but just decided to sit there

Simple answer. Swansong can't counter artifacts only enchantments and instants and sorcerys.

sakashima-tymna 's player casted artifacts and sorceries at the beginning of the end step (instant), there is no main phase after necropotence "draw"

born upon a wind says you may cast spells this turn as though they had flash so im guessing he goes to endstep to get the cards and before clean up casts BUAW to flash out his mana and then his spells after before discarding and exiling
