My Walmart don't sell them anymore but they do sell shot guns bb guns and shot gun ammo... But every pawn shop in my city has these guns on the wall along with all kinda guns

Absolutely, 22lr fired from a rifle is plenty for home defense. Use reliable ammo like CCI and make sure your test your rifle for reliability. Cheers friend

I've got an AR and some shotguns- but I've also got a 64 takedown loaded up. It's a handy gun to grab. And is just perfect for my 100 lb wife to use. Years ago my mom fired a 22 rifle through our back door when a guy tried to break in our house. He never came back ! Lol That rifle saved us that night. It's an old Marlin lever gun and Ive still got it.

Yeah I would be a perfect little 22 rifle for squirrel hunting. You might want to add a low magnification scope to it but it would be perfect

If you push in on the charging handle it locks the bolt to the rear. Try pulling out on the boat handle and see if it will release the bolt

You need a driver's license to purchase a gun from Walmart

You also need a PERMIT TO PURCHASE from your local county sherrif's office which can take a month or more to process .

Depends on your city/county... A lot of laws have changed since then but where I live u can buy guns as long as u have your in state id and a clean criminal background no license needed but it's an easier process if I have a license or permit(skip waiting periods)
