2 жыл бұрынA quick rundown of the Savage Anschutz Match 64. This is a 1971 model that had some issues. I finally got it figured out, but took a little research, and had to finish a job not properly done in the first place.

NOTE: the manual for the 54 and 64 rifles recommends NOT using any type of bore brush. Patches ONLY. I have a 64MS from 1978 that has had about a bazillion rounds through it. It has NEVER seen a brush. Hoppes and good patches and either a steel, brass or nylon coated rod are all I have ever used on my 64. The rifling is STILL clean as a whistle after over FORTY YEARS.

The manual I read didn't specifically say no brushes, just said run a couple patches through.

Hello my friend, better you use wooden toothpicks to pull the gunk out of the edges, please do not use any steel needles or screw drivers. That prevents from scratches ! That is a good tip from customer service, a old Master Gunsmith of Anschütz. Greets here from Ulm, where your Anschütz Match 64 was built. I had a similar, for shooting English Match, International and 100m.

Got exactly the same but #69# made by Anschutz in Germany... And the strange thing is that it has also written "1402A" (which was supposed to be a junior, but sure mine it's not junior) Any clue?

The pin at the back of the bolt doesnt allow me to fully close the bolt, i have no clue what to do

Use q-tips with the hollow plastic bodies. Cut the tips of them off and stick them on the end of your pick. Great way to clean the lugs and lug area.

Should just pull the trigger and slide it back.
