Just got this working on real hardware! This is a Model 1 VA3 Genesis with a YM3438 transplanted into it, sounds AMAZING!! Very bassy, and I love it. I might hook this up to the stereo system and give it a loud blast. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iclxpsdivLrDf4k.html EDIT: Tried this on a bone stock Genesis that still has the actual YM2612 in it, and it sounds different than this or the YM3438, has more of a gritty sound, and actually sounds pretty cool.

Wow, fantastic cover all throughout. I just wish that the last part, from 6:06 (just as the final hi-hat kicks in), has lasted 1,5x, maybe 2x longer, some epic shit goin' on there! Actually I prefer this version over the original, not only you did it justice with your cover but there's also something really moving hearing it coming from my beloved Mega Drive. Congrats man, this is extremely impressive.

GenAtari's remix had actual vocals and better drums, but the guitars on this one are much heavier and grittier, which I think better fits the Genesis.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks. I thought some of the sounds sounded a little CSM-ey, but they can't be since channel 3 is doing multi-frequency.
