When Savannah first released this song I used to listen to her every day while stuck in a toxic marriage. Just wear my headphones and close my eyes wishing I can speak these words into the universe and just be gone anywho left this person and it's been the best 8 months. He texted me yesterday begging for us to get back together and when I said no he called me selfish and I immediately remembered this song! I said yes I'm selfish as fuck im finally back to self love and I ain't going back ! The best decision for my kids and myself. Why is nobody talking about her VOCAL RANGE *edit* wow thanks for the likes! I didn’t think anyone would see this 😭 for those of y’all commenting about the auto tune and reverb or comparing her to other artists: yes, your points are somewhat valid. BUT. Impressive “range” shouldn’t imply just high notes, for those mentioning alto’s like Mariah? Not really comparable, and that’s not what I was referring to when I first posted this comment. In her runs, she effortlessly moves up and down the scale - her lows are so well controlled and her highs too. I’m currently out of a 20 year relationship. I loved this man with everything in me. I’m 47 and he’s 63. One thing I’ve learned these past years you have to love yourself & take what’s done to you by someone you love to heart. The hurt they inflicted was by their choice & them not caring how that hurt impacted you or what it did to you mentally. I also learn when they avoid the truth their sending you a powerful message that is they not going to change because change happens in discussion & action. Takes a real man to show you what you were missing trying to stay in a place you never belonged because they know & treat you more like you should be treated. Sad people have to let go when they really don’t want to because they keep seeing the same ol same ok from someone they truly fell in love with but did nothing to change themselves after they hurt you...

My anthem every day. This is always a reminder of what I need to do for my Self-love and self-care. I have a huge given heart and I tend to place ppl ahead of me. Thought that was loving me but in the end, I wasn't self-loving myself I was neglecting myself and losing myself in the process. This alone gives me the true reminder that I have to be "selfish asf" to myself. When I hear ppl saying I am more selfish and not enabling them. Urielle Zey long backstory, but I hope this helps ... ok so for me, I’m healing my childhood wounds on a spiritual level, which coincidentally relates to the type of guys I attract. I was raised in a single parent household by my mother, so I’m low key emotionally unavailable to men, but when I do attract guys they’re often distant and don’t meet my needs. Honestly, this gave me a complex like “am I not worthy of love from men?” 🤔 So on this 30 day challenge I’m doing self love meditations, writing forgiveness mantras and gratitude lists and speaking positive affirmations to myself while looking in the mirror. GIVING MYSELF THE LOVE I DESERVE. This will help heal me, while simultaneously boosting my own confidence.

Found this by mistake... she has a beautiful voice and I love her outfit! When my ex so called husband cheated i left him that week and didn't look back. I have sickle cell disease so I deal with a lot of pain. Never thought he would betray me because he was always there for me. I'll admit to this day I don't get it but maybe it's not for me to get. I bossed up despite my health and enrolled into a medical billing & coding program at Penn Foster. I graduate may 2k21 at the latest. Sometimes you just have to let ppl go and take out time for self but these days ppl rather tolerate bs than be alone. Damaging themselves. The other person shouldn't be blamed when/if you decide to stay. The so called marriage with him ended in 2k18. I've been single and celibate ever since. Best decision I could've made!
