Let's take a ride to the port city of Savannah, Georgia for the first in a series of road videos there.

Thanks Jim, the weather definitely cooperated much better this time for Savannah. The next one will cover I-516 & the Truman Pkwy; vid 3 will cover US 80 The Island Pkwy out to Tybee Isl, and the last one will be a downtown street tour of the historic district and water front.

Florence, South Carolina is 159 miles (256 KM) to the north on Interstate 95; Jacksonville, Florida is approximately 135 miles (217 KM) to the south on 95. To my knowledge, there is no municipality named "Florence" in Georgia although the states of Alabama, Kentucky, & Oregon have cities named Florence.

No. Savannah lies right at the GA/SC border. That's the next major town north of Savannah on I-95 and GA puts "SC" there to let you know you're about to leave the state.
